We just came back from spending four nights at the Spicers Peak Lodge. We travel often, to similar hotels around australia. But this place is unique. If you like stunning views , if you like the mountains and amazing walks, if you like wonderful food together with delicious wines so perfectly matched and all Australian sourced (the restaurant has two...

Pros: Amazing scenery especially during sunset.  Lots of interesting animals. Although it's a shame it's mostly cows rather than natives.  The service was friendly. Very relaxing experience to just take in the view. The included food and the wine/cocktail list was extensive.  Cons: The room was a major let down. Considering the price, the room was very poor value for money....

Such a beautiful location, accommodation, wine list and the service is outstanding. We travel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️regularly and can confidently say that anyone would feel instantly at peace and enjoy this isolated, relaxing and romantic spot spot. Worth the 1 hr 45 min drive from Brisbane. A true taste of country Australia for anyone visiting from overseas. Make sure you book a...

Have rarely stayed in so tranquil and lovely a place. Our room – Lodge 1 – is simply a delight. At night we feel we are the only people in the universe. Writing this on our last evening as our inside / outside fire blazes and the stars twinkle down on us it is certainly somewhere we will never forget....

The discrete service, luxurious rooms, the log fires fires and best champers and superb meals including best Sunday night dinner of roasted root vegetables, smashed potatoes and good meat. Spicers Peak is a place to celebrate in style or relax with discrete pampered luxury. Bonus was the free morning yoga sessions with a superb teacher, staff who remembered all our...

Spicers Peak Lodge is the most luxurius and 5 star hotel in Queensland. Our room was separate from the main building and was exceptional quality (and an amazing bed!) with a superb small kitchen, and outside spa that was very romantic and luxurious. I wish I could live there!

We enjoyed two lovely nights at Spicers Peak Lodge. What a treat. Fabulous food and wine. The staff are lovely here. The best I've experienced just about anywhere. There are lots of cute wallabies hopping about the many walking trails. Very delightful two nights indeed. I'm looking forward to checking out more Spicers lodgings.

The Private Lodges are worth upgrading if you are looking for that something special. It's the perfect place to "disappear from the world" where you can be as active or inactive as you choose! The degustation dining with paired wines was a fabulous way to end each day.

What a fantastic retreat. The all inclusive price concept is brilliant. The cost may seem expensive when first seen, but when you find out what is included the price it is very reasonable. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly right from the welcome at the front door to when we left. The views from the lodge's location are breathtaking....
