Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I stayed in the Superior Chalet at the Lodge, Mapleton Falls, and had a picture perfect weekend celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary. Our room was straight out of a fairytale, complete with stacked wood fireplace, four-poster bed (which was very comfortable!) and a decanter of port to greet us on arrival. The location was perfect, nestled into the quiet countryside of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, surrounded by greenery and rainforest walks not far away. The owners were excellent - approachable and friendly, but gave us our privacy, as well. Absolutely amazing weekend away, exactly what we needed!

Tucked away in a beautifully quiet secluded spot, the Lodge at Mapleton Falls was the perfect spot to chill out and relax.

We had room 2, a spacious room, with its own patio, with views over the gardens. It was lovely to sit and watch the variety of birds, and apparently if you’re lucky, there’s also wallabies and koala to be spotted too.

A light breakfast of fruit, cereal and croissants was included.

Mike was very helpful and we would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Recently having a break, stayed here for a few days.
Stayed in room 3 and just wonderfull. Comming back on our last day early in the afternoon, sitting on the deck, glass wine & some wonderful cheese in the fridge. Very peaceful.
Mike was such a lovely man. Gave us lots of hints and idea for the area

We had stayed here earlier this year and loved it so thought it would be great to come back in Winter, and enjoy the fireplaces. It is a lovely place to stay. We stayed in room 3 and it is very spacious and beautifully appointed, with a large bedroom, seperate sitting room, and bathroom, and an outdoor sitting room. There are 2 communal lounge areas with fireplaces, and we enjoyed the ambiance of the fireplaces. Mike and Ann are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. Mike dropped some other guests off to Montville, for dinner, picking them up later, and picking up our pizza orders for us. We will definitely be back for another visit to this beautiful, peaceful, spot.
