The property is a very well maintained older style hotel. It’s on the old Pacific Highway but close to the Gold Coast Brisbane expressway and in a quiet area surrounded largely by trees. The pool is very nice and the restaurant operates every night except Sunday. There is a local shopping area with food and a hotel about 5 minutes drive away. The staff were fantastic and the grounds man maintains the grounds very well. We were upgraded because Expedia charged us such a high price fir a standard room - ring them directly for the next room and price.

First thing to impress you, is the welcoming and friendly staff. I have stayed here on separate occasions, after booking directly AND by using Expedia .. never a problem and the service is always A1
Totally LURVE the bubble spa with the blue lights at night

I needed a convenient overnight stay and found this place to be clean, comfortable and quite spacious. Our room was air conditioned , bright and the bathroom with shower was larger than usual. There was a full sized fridge with freezer. My late arrival was accommodated easily with no issue.

My partner and I booked a room here for New Year’s Eve. Everything started fine, bit of confusion with the aircon but we figured it out. Then my partner and I got ready to go out for the night, coming in and out of the room to go for cigarettes, everything was working just fine.
We went out to some pubs then came back to the motel at about 2:30am. Only to discover the key card wouldn’t unlock our door anymore. We tried everything we could including ringing the motel’s phone, ringing the doorbell, getting in contact with a different manager who couldn’t help us at the time. Nothing worked. So we were stuck outside in the freezing cold rain with no where to sleep or use the bathroom. We couldn’t even sleep in our car because the car keys were locked in the room with the rest of our stuff.
My partner and I decided to camp outside of the reception building just waiting til 7am when the reception desk opens. Shivering and exhausted all we wanted was a hot shower and to sleep in the bed we paid for.
At 5:30am the manager woke up and finally let us back into our room. She had no sympathy at all, no apologies, and had the audacity to blame us and say it was our fault for desensitising the magnet in the key card by having it next to a phone. Even though we explained the card was kept in a wallet which stayed in a separate pocket to a phone.
We finally got our hot shower and got a few hours sleep before we had to be awake to tidy the room and be at the front desk for check out. We asked for a refund because of the horrible and scary experience we went through. We paid for a safe place to sleep and we only received that for 3 hours. The manager downright refused the full refund, and didn’t care that she caused her guests to have an awful experience. There were no signs or explanations that the key card could get desensitised when we arrived at the motel. The manager said it was common sense not to keep it near a phone and that we won’t get a refund because we should have known better. We explained how there was no after hours number we could contact and that security drove through the parking lot twice, seeing us camping outside the front desk and did nothing. To which we learned that the security guard has the managers personal number and could have easily contacted her and resolved the issue. An argument then ensued and we were kicked off the property.
We have since been in contact with a lawyer to sue for breach of contract and to get compensation for this disgusting experience. We highly recommend you don’t stay here due to the lack of care and the absolutely horrible customer service. We want to make sure no one ever goes through what we did, no one should ever have to feel terrified, lost or alone when they paid for a safe place to sleep.

Had a very nice overnight stay at th McNivens Logan Park Motel, the room was very spacious, well appointed clean and comfortable.
I went with the Spa Room and thoroughly enjoyed making use of it.
They Managers went above & beyond holding onto a Chrostmas gift for me, which I can't thank them enough for.
You need to be on the ball to take the correct exit (I didn't & went on a little tour), but that aside, this is now my new place to stay in Loganholme.
Only think that could improve it would be if the restaurant was up and running.

Absolutely beautiful place. Just off the motorway, but still fairly quiet. Room was very clean. Comfortable bed plus extra pillows and blankets if needed. Everything in the room worked and the staff there were amazing and so friendly. Restaurant is not open, but close by to restaurants and fast food. Or just get delivery if you fancy just staying in. For the price, it was amazing. I will definitely be going back there. I highly recommend staying here.

I've been staying here for a few weeks with work. Rooms are nice, management are very helpful, but credit has to go to the Chef. He's amazing, best carbonara EVER!! Makes coming back during the week more pleasant for sure!!

Stayed there for work assuming it had a restaurant in the motel found out after getting there that the restaurant was closed.
The place is nice but is sorta In the middle of nowhere was ok for me because I was there for work but would of prefer somewhere that had a restaurant so I did not have to travel every night to get dinner.
Nice pool quiet place the people that work there are also nice place does need an upgrade.

We landed after a 16 hour flight early in the morning, we were able to check in straight away which we were so happy about because we were very tired. Room was large/functional and quiet given the location of the Motel. Plenty of parking. No complaints

Our stay at this motel was wonderful. It was definately better quality than what you would think a motel to be. We stayed in the Queen spa room on the ground floor and it was clean, quiet, affordable and very convenient. We didnt use the restaurant as I thought the prices were too high but it was easy to drive where ever you like. We will definately be back if ever in Brisbane!
