Highly recommend this Motel. Clean and quiet, a very comfortable bed and with a newly renovated room we had everything we needed. The quietest air-conditioner ever! Easy walk through the laneway to the main street to pubs etc for meals. Parking out the back was easy and there is safe street parking if you have a Motorhome. Gardens and walkways are decorated in a fabulous quirky way, just magical. Staff very welcoming. The lady who was cleaning the rooms was just gorgeous. Couldn't recommend this family run Motel highly enough. Thanks for the magical stay!

Quite possibly one of the worst nights I have had in a hotel / motel. Was in Room 6. 3 or 4 young children were screaming and slamming doors on the first floor. And I mean slamming doors constantly. Then male and female adults screaming. Then a 45 minutes barrage of screaming, door slamming, running up and down stairs, banging, noise and general mayhem ensued. Called reception 3 times. Finally answered by someone who said "I will come down in a minute". 30 minutes later the side show continues. No call back from reception, no acknowledgement of disruption to other guests. Would never stay again.... Very disappointed - never again!!!

It really is the only place to stay if you want to be in the centre of town. Clean rooms, walkable to everything, welcoming staff. Rooms were large and well maintained. The car park is small but that doesn't matter, the street has plenty of spaces available.

great motel rooms are really nice, lovely pool , right in town to get to everything ,manager was lovely , very comfy bed ,short stroll to town , went to the paramount theatre for a show which is 5 mins walk

We enjoyed our stay at the Childers Oasis Motel. Chad was friendly and so kind to wait for us with an unexpected late arrival. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. We really were able to rest and relax after a long day of driving. Great location, quiet, and easy to get to. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent customer service, the staff were professional yet down to earth, friendly and helpful. Superb cleanliness which is a big plus and top location. Comfortable beds too. Great shower with lots of space. This was a really enjoyable stay. Will stay here again.

My expectations were high from the glowing reviews. And let me say there was nothing wrong with the place except from the rather depressing disused cafe area, which was dimly lit as if to hide the obsolete nature of the place. Perhaps remove some of the clutter and make it a more inviting first impression. The rabbit - warren layout of the place was also disorienting not just myself but for another couple of guests who accidentally entered my room... (yes I was there with the door unlocked for my expected friend to pick me up). The bed was fine, and the room generically just another hotel room. Tea facilities were welcome, but not extended beyond the basics. The lovely Fillipino room staff was polite, efficient and obliging over my 4 day stay. My room out the back was quiet.

Thank you for taking your time in writing this review. We are sorry our motel did not meet your rather high expectations. As you know, we are a very small family owned motel in a tiny town of Childers. The cafe you mentioned is shut and has been for years as most cafe business in town struggle to stay in business and keep or find employees. It is where it is and we cannot move it. It’s quite obvious but it seems you wrote this review just so you can write something negative about us. You criticised something that is not even part of the offer and failed to mention any of that in person during your 4 day stay. All rooms have visible numbers on the doors and can be locked. As you claim, you left yours unlocked, yet you blamed the layout of our motel for your mistake. We provide generous amount of tea sugar coffee milk biscuits and bottled water all complimentary. If you want almond latte or dirty chai, you are more than welcome to order one yourself from the cafe less than 2 minutes walk from us. Thank you for noticing but yes, all our cleaners are very good at their jobs. For future reference, we recommend you stay somewhere else as our humble town of Childers is not suited for your demands and expectations. Have a lovely day.

The Childers Oasis Motel is so conveniently located, but it's off the highway making it so much quieter at night. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, and you are within easy walking distance of shops and pubs. It's a great spot to stay for the night when you want to break up a long drive down to Brisbane or the Gold Coast.

I was very happy with my stay at Childers Oasis Motel. The room was clean, comfortable and very well appointed. Centrally located in town, but behind the main street shops, so nice and quiet. Friendly, helpful staff - although be warned, housekeeping start at 8:30, so put out the Do Not Disturb sign if you want to sleep past that.

I was arriving late, this was not an issue for anyone. Everything was ready for my arrival. The rooms have been revamped and are lovely, clean and very welcoming. The beds and pillows are very comfy and all amenities are covered.
