The small and quiet campground is indeed on the oceanfront on a nice rocky shore unsuitable for swimming. the swimming sandy beach is about 15 minutes walk, so, not too bad. The patk is locates in a residential area, and there is a convinent shop just 2 minutes walk next to it. The site has a fully equipped kitchen you can rely on and laundry room. the reception were very helpful.

Perfect- Ocean frontage, rustling 🌴 fronds and 🌊 breezes.
A well planned camp kitchen, relaxing pool and clean facilities.
Friendly, helpful management.
🐕 welcome. No mozzies/midgies
Compact, a little aged but quiet- few ks away from Bargara bustle.
A Tavern and a Takeaway within🚶🏼‍♀️ distance.
Cabins are basic with 2 electric hot plates/microwave.
I'd add cookware for the microwave a couple of soft lights, face washers.
Our bar fridge wouldn't freeze the ice cream we put in it.
Thank you Linda and Scott 🙏

We stayed 11 nights in the family cabin right on the ocean front. The two cabins are separated by a door for privacy. The cabins were very clean and well equiped, if a little tight for space. We shared our kitchen with our daughter and son in law. Each cabin had their own bathroom and shower, plus air conditioning unit. The rooms were serviced every five days. Cleaned and fresh towels and bed linen changed. All in all it was a very comfortable stay. (Be aware there are rules in place, but these are for the benefit and privacy of all patrons). If you don’t want to be considerate to other travellers, then don’t stay here. 🤣. If you want a luxury stay this is not the place for you. If you want a quiet and relaxing holiday, it’s perfect.

The cabins are in a great location right on the water but were very dirty and dusty inside. Nothing that a bucket of hot water and elbow grease couldn't fix. We left our phones and iPads next to the bed and in the morning totally coated in dust particles. Both of us had scratchy eyes and throats after 3 nights. The floor was also really dirty so ended up with sand in our beds even though we took our shoes off before entering the cabin. There is no hair dryers and non available at reception and internet didn't work in our cabin and had to go to the camp kitchen even though they boast online of high speed internet and able to work. Overall for the price extremely disappointed and would rather stay at our regular places at Woodgate NRMA or Beachside Cabins for the the same price but much nicer accommodation

This is nice little caravan park - we were in a duplex cabin, very basic with little room, but a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the oceanfront vista - the sound of the waves, the clear view across the ocean was worth it. The bed was comfortable although space was limited. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather - if it had been very windy, the cabin simply could not have coped, you wouldn't want to be cooped up inside all day. The entire area is a nice place to visit.

My wife and I have stayed here a number of times over the years and it just gets better everytime we visit. We love to stay in the Oceanfront cabins, and they are so close to the water. The cabins have recently been refurbished, and this makes them even more appealing. If you wake up early enough you will see the best sunrises. The park is close to hotels, and there is a corner store across the road. The staff are very friendly, and the park is very quite. You are in driving distance of patrolled beaches, and there are courtesy buses that can take yo to the Golf and Bowls Club if you wish to go out for a drink and dinner.

Love the lace and will be back.

Our cabin was right on the beach, which had a little seat to watch the ocean and try to spot the dolphins swimming right in front of you.
Rooms were basic, but comfortable, with everything you need for an overnight stay. Why be inside when there is an outdoor table to eat, chat and watch the ocean.
Being school holidays, it was packed, but still very private.

The renovations have continued and the park becoming even more attractive. The sites are level and the slabs all quite new. The grass is growing back. The refurbished cabins are great, and so close to the ocean. Yes all the amenities are clean and refreshing. The added bonus is the new camp kitchen where everything is provided for the cook or camper. What a great place to visit with friendly and helpful staff.

We had a cabin and it was literally right on the oceanfront. Lying in bed with the sound of the waves pounding on the rocks was wonderful and at the same time peaceful. The managers of the park are great and the whole area is in a pristine condition. The camp kitchen is well stocked and kept very clean.
