Have been a few times and I like the amount of space that is available when it is fully booked, I guess that's why its over $100 p/n for a site for a family. However, lately there seems to be more and more rules, such as our last booking, we booked a safari tent for a couple of nights, then a site for another 4. The lady made me book this as 2 separate bookings (same family etc, all we were doing was moving locations) then I rang back and wanted to book the site for a couple of days prior to the safari tent and we were told we had to book a min of 7 nights, even though we were already staying for 6 and wanted to add another 2?? The whole reason for this trip was for work then see out the holidays at the end. Work got cancelled cause of covid, so I asked for a credit for us to use on another trip - no problems however as we made 2 booking we would be charged 2 cancellation fees??? I know times are tough but after this stunt they have lost a family forever. nice amenity's, good pool.…
We had 2 powered sites , the first problem was that we had to sit inside our van because of all the smoke from people lighting fires , what about the comfort of those who don’t wish to put up with the smoke , not to mention it was 39 degrees today and yes someone has lit a fire. ( if must have a fire should be winter only) half the country burnt earlier in the year. Can’t believe with the present covid situation that the toilets are attended to more regularly , hand soap had ran out by lunchtime and toilets a mess and to bad till next day. People in pool area this afternoon with glass beer bottles and no one ever seems to do a walk around to check . Think that the amount of amenities for a park this size is very inadequate, 1 washing machine and 1 clothes line for half the park must be great in the Xmas holidays . Yes it’s a pretty spot but needs all theses things looked at .…
Nelligen Holiday Park is very family oriented and has sites for all types of travellers. We enjoyed our short stay and it was a handy spot to be for a day trip to historic Braidwood. Recommended for all.
Great spot, very well maintained lawns. Will be awesome in summer. Amenities clean and lots of stuff for the kids to do. Enjoyed a camp fire aswell. The only thing that really upset me was that when we booked, we were advised that absolutely under no circumstances were we allowed to bring our small pet dog due to being school holidays. Well, we saw 5 or 6 at camp sites and staff didn’t care! That did not please me at all!
We have stayed here twice this year. Once on ensuite caravan site and then on powered site will definitely be back next year. Amenities are spotless and handy to sites which are the best this year, large and artificial turf was great in the wet.
