We have stayed here twice and have both times had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean and comfy with a beautiful view of the valley, and the animals are all friendly and will gladly accept grass to eat. The owners are really nice and helpful, too. Our dog really enjoyed playing with the two dogs that live there, Rosie and Toby, and the creek is beautiful. We definitely want to go back again.

Bumblebrook is all you could ask for a revitalisation of a soul thrashed by everyday busy life. Beautiful scenery, and so quiet! We were welcomed by a friendly hostess and two exuberant dogs who made us feel like visiting royalty.

The accommodation is not 5-star. It doesn't pretend to be, and it doesn't cost anything like a 5-star hotel. But it is very comfortable and really caters to all your needs. I really never once felt I needed anything else.

Bumblebrook is near the small town of Candelo, but it is a very easy drive to any of the coastal towns from Bateman's Bay to Eden.

Highly recommended. Thanks, Jo, for a wonderful week.

We spent 4 nights at lovely Bumblebrook farm over Xmas with our dog.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Jo who throughout our stay could not have been more accommodating. Our cabin was perfect with glorious views & everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
Torrential rain was not a deterrent to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Candelo. Thanks Jo & Family we will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful farm motel, i didn't expect much however upon arrival rooms where clean, tidy, modern, flat screen tv and even breakfast was supplied.

Dog friendly which is great, lovely views.

Will defiantly stay here again if I visit the area.

Why are there not more farm-stay motels? What a great concept. We had an impromptu stay when we arrived in the region too late to set up camp- Wendy saved the day with her great value family room. Rooms are a nice spacious version of your standard motel- super clean and with a kitchen well stocked with all the equipment you could need. The kids loved the play equipment and we enjoyed dinner outside at the BBQ area warmed by a camp-fire. Animals and the wonderful view were a treat to wake up to. They also are well set up for those travelling with dogs. A great find- happy to recommend.

We stopped in here with my wife and 2 young children. The access to all the animals on the farm is a terrific experience for the children and the calmness of the surroundings in the evening while listening to the wild life was absolutely wonderful.
The hosts Alan and Wendy we very pleasant and helpful. The cook your own breakfast is a nice touch so you can do it at your own leisure.
Will be back.

My husband, Dave and I stayed at the Bumblebrook for 6 nights while attending and making funeral arrangements for our Dad. Needless to say we needed a quiet, sanctuary. The Bumblebrook ticked every box. Quiet, breathtaking scenery, fantastic hosts, and a great room with everything and anything you could think of. We were able to prepare our meals in the kitchen, relax on the lounge and watch TV and get a great nights sleep in the very comfortable bed with tasteful linens. Our dog, Millie was very happy to take walks on the property and have a covered fenced in area under the unit to stay in when she wanted to be outside.
We had to drive to Bega everyday. It was a quick 20 minute drive through the most beautiful scenery. We were also near Merimbula where there is an abundance of great restaurants and shops. The pub in Candelo had the best burgers and staff. (An easy 5 minute drive if you are too tired to go anywhere else). But best of all were our hosts, Wendy and Alan. They have a sixth sense knowing when you want to be alone and knowing when you might like a little company. The last night we were there we sat by the outdoor fireplace with them, had a little wine and cheese, and just enjoyed talking and finding out more about their venture at Bumblebrook. Thank-you Wendy and Alan. We are still talking about that wonderful cheese you gave us! We wish you good fortune and fun times. Renee and Dave

Really nice farm stay cottage, near Bega. Quiet, with gorgeous views over a green valley. Cows, llamas and sheep wander close by. At dusk, the roos come. We stayed here just one night, but after leaving Sydney it was exactly the sort of 60-to-zero downtime we needed.

Cottages felt fairly rustic, as you'd expect at a farm stay. No frills, but a great back deck, and a proper country feel.

We stayed 2 nights in a Studio Room here. Jo was the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. We received a breakfast basket of ham and eggs and home baked bread. She was worried the bread wasn't cooked quite enough and offered to bake another. It was fine for us and delicious. The farm has beautiful Scottish Highland Cows, Goats, Sheep and other animals. Toby the 6 month old foxie was our best friend. The views are beautiful. If I am to be totally honest here I would say the room was a little tired and could do with a lick of paint but having said that it was clean and comfortable. This would be a great stop for families.

Arrived with the family for a one night stay. Owner not there on arrival picked up the key and went in to find the room was set up for 3 not 4 as booked. Owners didn't seem phased by this problem but later in the evening knocked on our door saying our payment with the card wouldn't go through. They were using some one else card details and not ours. I questioned where we're our card details with no answer. Eventually realised a double booking nearly happened but luckily the other people had pulled out. ABSOLUTELY no concern for our 13 year old that had to sleep on the floor. A nice spot but POOR management. We won't be back and we are watching our credit card statement for any strange payments

Sadly this was a one of incident that has never happened before and we appologise profusely to these people. Their credit card details have in no way been compromised. There appears to have been confusion with this booking that we are very soory about.
