Amazing what a change of hands will do. The pub has recently been taken over by the proprietors of the Royal hotel in Bowral and to use the old quote "new broom sweep clean" the place looks fantastic and the food is even better. Great friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff. Well done we will be back.

Great pub. The food is fantastic, the view is amazing and the staff are great. A perfect place out the back for the kids to run around and play safely while having lunch or dinner and enjoying the view. Welcoming to everyone. Definitely give it a go if you're in the highlands. I love it. Luckily for me it's my...

I met friends and their kids for an early dinner and nice night out. That is exactly what we got - the kids meals are great, and the head chef Sebastian was so accomodating, he came out of the kitchen and showed me vegetarian options. All of the guys behind the bar are also so friendly - this is such...

Under new management and doing well. Lots of work to be done and perhaps a more stream lined ordering position for food would be advisable. Food was good however no kids menu. And the fries should be left at Maccas and replaced with proper pub think cut chips. I look forward to returning when a bit more work has been...

Came here for lunch after Anzac Day march and service in Mittagong. There was two-up in the courtyard which was hilarious. Don't get your hopes up folks - it is only legal once a year. A bit chaotic at the bar - you order food at one end and drink at the other - why can't you do both at...

When we heard the Burrawang Hotel had been sold to outside interests, who were bringing in a chef from the Royal Hotel at Bowral, we were worried. The 'Wang is unique in the district as being the last old-fashioned country pub in the district - no poker machines, no SKY-TV, no ridiculous "gastro-pub" food that tastes like nothing, just good...

We had previously been to the hotel with average reviews but after hearing the hotel had changed hands recently we went back to give it another go ... The food was exceptional! Service was great! -including the chef coming past and asking how everything was tasting on the new menu! Very friendly and perfect Sunday night vibes! I would recommend...

The Burrawang Village Hotel has a great beer garden, with excellent views of the surrounding countryside. However, on the day we were there for lunch, it was let down by terrible customer service from the bar staff - they were rude and unfriendly. Bar Staff appeared to be genuinely upset to have customers at their pub! We were part of...

Met a group of friends here for a post wedding get together. Great beer garden overloong local countryside. Little bit of a wait for food, which was typical pub fair, but the location and scenery made up for it. Will visit again, next time we pass through.

Burrawang is a lovely village and this is a very pretty pub and location. I brought friends from Germany here today for a mid week lunch. Just wanting a quick lunch. We waited over 45mins for our food and when our order arrived they had completely forgotten our dietary requirements even though it was clearly printed on the docket. The...
