Like another reviewer, my boyfriend and I stayed at Whitcomb Summit this past weekend for The National concert that was held at Mass MoCA. You couldn't beat the location, the view or the price. The hotel is remote and off the beaten trail, which provides the privacy and view you would hope for in that region, while also being close...

We stayed at the Whitcomb Summit to be close to Mass Moca in North Adams for The National's show on June 11, 2016. Our room was clean and comfortable with breathtaking views of the Berkshires. Staff were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The facility is close to North Adams, Williamstown and Southwestern Vermont. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed the comfortable bed and panoramic view of the New England landscape from this summit location. But we really didn't appreciate much else about our double queen room. A strange odor that I could not identify permeated the space. The furniture had seen better days and the lamps shed such poor light that...

Accommodations were clean & comfortable. Staff was attentive and went out of their way to greet and make your stay pleasurable. Did I mention that the scenery was outrageous? Breakfast vouchers were included but we we not able to utilize them as we departed at dawn.

My wife and I had no accommodation planned whilst we were travelling along the Mohawk Trail. We stopped at the Whitcomb Summit Retreat. Well, the room were clean and really nice. Great bed, TV and the owner and staff are really friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed a second night. The views are excellent, and the...

What I liked the least was the long drive back to Newark from Florida, Mass. This retreat however was just right. Room 15 is the largest and it was clean, large and adequately furnished. The bedding was the nicest that we had throughout our whole vacation and we slept well. The rooms are all en-suite and the bathroom was clean...

We stayed at the Whitcomb Summit Retreat to attend a wedding up the hill at the Rose & Goat Resort. We had a beautiful view of the gorgeous fall trees. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. He went way overboard to assure that we were comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed. The Whitcomb is not a...

This Fall’s foliage was the brightest, most fiery I’ve seen in over a dozen years. Luckily I was able to secure a room at the Whitcomb Summit Retreat, with its towering view over many hills and valleys. Whitcomb Summit Retreat boasts a remarkable location, with breathtaking views from every room, and wonderful balcony-like walkways with chairs to allow guests to...

We were wandering along the Mowhawk Trail and stopped for the night. It was simply good accommodation at the right price. A great bed, good television, good wi-fi and a very helpful host. We wandered down to Hairpin Turn for dinner, showed our room key and got a 10% discount.

The Whitcomb Summit retreat was a pleasant surprise. Located a little way out of town we were not expecting such a welcoming host, Jim, who went out of his way to provide us with all we needed. He checked on our needs and even searched the net to assist in the planning of the next days of our trip as...
