The room that touched us was in acceptable condition, but not according to what it costs, because being 4 people the price increased a lot.
The restaurant service is good, but at a somewhat high cost.
In short, you could be much better off being one of the few options in Puerto Nuevo. For the price expectations were high.

We paid $230 for one night to stay in a horrible hotel that is unfit for anyone to stay in.
The jacuzzi is for adults only, but children with inflatable toys get in and the hotel staff does nothing about it.
The mattress in the room is in terrible condition, you end up more uncomfortable sleeping there.
It took almost two weeks to get my invoice! No matter how much I marked them and sent emails.
The hotel is already old and neglected.

All our guests loved the views and the food. All the servers were extremely attentive to my husband and I and made sure that we always had what we needed and that we ate.
The music was also great all our guests dances until 1AM. For anyone in the states that needs an all inclusive venue that can hosts 200+ guests I strongly recommend this venue as they will provide everything with the exception of the flowers which Flor can then recommend some amazing vendors.
Like most Mexican hotels they have some quirks. There are no elevators and the only rooms that would be accessible to those in a wheelchair would be the garden suites. All the regular rooms require at minimum 4 steps, more if you are on a different floor. Some of the windows are missing screens so if you open the window you have to watch for flies. Also, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, but that isn't a big deal because.there is an ocean breeze. There is also no beach access at the hotel, even though the hotel is right on the ocean. Unfortunately the low prices do bring some partiers who sometimes get noisy drunk. Unfortunately there was one the night we were there. Security took care of it but I wish it wasn't so easy to hear the noise in the hallway. My suggestion is to put signs in the hallways reminding people to keep quiet after maybe 10 pm.
In the good category, the location is excellent. You are right on the ocean and even the partial ocean view rooms have a great view. The staff is very friendly. They will all go out of their way to help you out. The facilities are very clean and they do their best to make everything safe. The beds were very comfortable. Parking was ample and very secure.
