When we decided to venture to Culebra to escape another brutal East Coast winter, we made a decision to forgo over-sized resorts and all inclusive beach properties for a taste of a somewhat still underdeveloped piece of the Caribbean. I mention this because Culebra is special and so is the Casa Resaca, but you have to be ready to surrender...

This is a great little property. Just a short golf cart ride away from all the beaches and the town, it's conveniently located on a small mountainside that's just the right distance for a much needed escape. The owners are extremely friendly and are available to answer any questions, engage in great conversation, and provide useful tips and advice about...

I much like others rely heavily on tripadvisor reviewers when choosing places to eat and stay. I read all the reviews about accommodations on Culebra. I can honestly say the reviews about Casa Resaca are accurate. This is a good place to stay and the owners are good people to deal with. Cliff and Maureen keep a very clean place....

We spent four nights at Casa Resaca in early March and we were so sorry to leave. Maureen and Cliff are very welcoming and helpful. The room we stayed in which was on the first floor was very comfortable and a very good value. The attractive shared porch, spotless, well equipped kitchen and large room with a very good bed...

My girlfriend and I were extremely happy with our stay at Casa Resaca. The house is very comfortable (esp. the living room), we slept very well, and most importantly Maureen and Cliff are fantastic hosts. Next time we are in Culebra, we will not hesitate to stay there again.

My wife and I just stayed for three nights and were very pleased with the accommodations and especially the owners. Cliff and Maureen were very friendly, offered quality suggestions of things to do and places to eat The rooms are very basic, as all rooms on the island, however the rooms were very neat and clean. The draw for us...

We were planning our winter getaway, and were starting in Florida visiting family -but we really wanted to get to a beach for snorkelling, birdwatching, and general relaxation. So we looked at the map and saw that Puerto Rico was a short flight from Florida, so we started our plans for this jewel of an island in the Caribbean. We...

We stayed with Cliff and Maureen at Casa Reseca for 3 nights and we had a perfect time. The room was spacious with everything we needed. Cliff & Maureen were lovely, helpful, and easy going. We had coffee each morning and headed out each day to discover each new and increasingly beautiful beach location. We definitely recommend a stay at...

I stayed for two days with my daughter and wish I stayed longer but had a short Puerto Rico stay. Away from town and beach , on a hill, a nice, modern built room with all amenities minus TV which is perfect for us. It is like a bed and breakfast minus the breakfast so one has to supply that....
