After a wonderful stay last March, we returned for the second time to the Colonial from January 7-14, 2017. We had a room in block 26 on the west side, but preferred the the east side of the resort we stayed at last time. To our surprise, many of the staff remembered us, so that was nice. Front desk staff,...

This was our first trip to Cuba and it won't be our last, however we wouldn't opt to stay at the Colonial again. The layout of the hotel is nice. It has the feel of a small village feel and the trees and foliage make it quaint. The beach is the highlight: beautiful, clean, not too narrow and with shallow...

Iliked this hotel. Stayed for 4 days with my son and my mom. The beach is beautiful, the pool is really big and there is more than enough place for everyone. The food is good! The staff is super friendly. Only thing: don't take the bus to playa pilar unless you have 4 hours to spend. It takes 2 hours...

My Boyfriend at the time (now husband) travelled to this resort for 1 week. a the time, everything was being renovated pretty much. The resort was still lush and beautiful and I was excited to see the improvements! My husband and I wanted different things out of the vacation so he wasnt too pleased that the resort was almost empty....

It's a good hotel since it was the first one build, great pools and the beach. I gave it a four because when you went to the buffet you came out smelling like fish which it's not great. But overall I would go again, the staff treats you great.

This is the first hotel build in Cayo Coco that needs TLC but is being renovated. Food is blend considering that cuban food is very tasty. Beaches are gorgeous and staff do their best with what they have.

It was a really nice stay for us, we loved it. However; the hotel for 4 people was very small and sometimes we got a bad smell from the toilet. The beach was very nice and the non-motorized water sports were very nice. The pool was huge and also nice, but a bit cold. Since I am Canadian that was...

We were at the second floor of Building 20- Very old building which obviously need a lot of renovation. The floor is cracked and mattress not comfortable cause you can feel the wires box.
