This was our 3rd time to the Sol. We were greeted at the hotel by the friendly animation team and the check in staff. Also waiting for us was a trolly full of fresh pool/beach towels. Now what people seem to forget is that Cuba is a poor country so the luxury of other Caribbean Islands is not necessarily what...

Stayed at Sol from Nov 25th - Dec 2nd. Every time we have been to Cuba we have hoped that nothing serious would happen while we were there. Well, Fidel Castro passed away the day we arrived. Did we notice any differences? Yes, of course, but nothing that negatively impacted our holiday to any great degree. There was no entertainment...

I read a few negative reviews on this resort but after returning from a week at the sol cayo coco, we had a really nice vacation. When I review a resort, I report both good and not just the bad. People wise at this resort are probably the best I have seen in my many years of travelling Cuba. 1...

This was our fourth trip to Cuba, but our first time in Cayo Coco, and we loved it!! Unlike Varadero, which is very congested, Cayo Coco is peaceful, quiet and serene. Our stay at Sol Cayo Coco was the best to date and we'll definitely go back again! Our room overlooked the gardens and pool and was clean, nicely furnished...
