We spent two nights at Colonial Manor Inn and had a marvelous time. A charming historic building that even had a small library. The breakfasts were yummy and our host Linda had many good tips for daytrips and Interesting stories about the area. Onancock was a sleepy but very friendly little town.

Our trip to Onancock centered around helping Dad & Evelyn pack up their house. After working at this all day, we found our own respite at the Colonial Manor Inn. Linda was extremely accommodating & delighted in sharing stories of her historic home with us. She even satisfied my husband's curiosity & showed him some of the details of carpentry...

Carol makes a delicious breakfast which we looked forward to each morning. Linda is knowledgeable on the local history and informative of the interesting things to see and do on the Eastern Shore. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. There were plenty of snacks for our enjoyment. I hope to return for another visit some day.

This was our first time staying at a B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It is hard to say which we enjoyed more - the food or the fellowship. The breakfast was so delicious that we cleaned our plates and could not eat again until late afternoon. Even the baked goods-turnovers, biscuits, and muffins-are homemade. We spent a fair amount...

This inn on Virginia's Eastern Shore has a most thoughtful host as well as great breakfast chef and socially conscious management -- all in one person. Even though we didn't arrive until 6 p.m., she cheerfully told my husband and me to let her know if we needed anything. The microwave and coffee-maker just off our sitting room helped us...

Thank you so much for your gracious comments. I really enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your comment about the shower bar. I thought the shower seat was enough, but I'll look into the bar as well. I always welcome suggestions to improve our inn. I'm glad you enjoyed breakfast. My mom is a fabulous cook, as well as a...

We arrived early for a one night stay on a Saturday. We ended up at the Colonial Manor Inn after a problem with another local B&B's reservation system but were pleasantly surprised with the last minute change. The innkeeper was very accommodating of our last minute room request and allowed us to check in early. The room was spacious with...

Looking to avoid Rt 95 from Richmond to DC and the associated crummy motels, we opted for the "real life" Eastern Shore route out of Norfolk. So pleased that we did and discovered the Colonial Manor Inn B&B in Onancock. Spacious grounds surround this lovely old home where we found a spotless small suite (excellent linens in bath and on...

Thank you so much for your kind review. I really enjoyed your little Scottie. So well-behaved. I'm very happy you enjoyed yourself. And my mom is so happy you loved her breakfast. She works hard at making them the best she can. She loves to cook. Please come back soon. If you have any photos, I'd love to see them...

Just spent 4 fantastic days at the Colonial Manor Inn. A beautiful, spacious old home full of antiques. Very cozy, clean, great breakfasts, crisp sheets. There was so much to do in the area, antique stores, art galleries and wonderful restaurants. Great seafood everywhere. We took a side trip to nearby Chincoteaque and saw the ponies as soon as we...

Agree with previous reviews about the cleanliness and charming hosts. It is always good to stay in a "real" B+B where owners actually live there. The room was very nice and bed very comfy. WiFi not great in the room. However, you should be aware that the inn is in serious need of an outside paint job. It is a...

Thank you for your lovely review of the 1882 Colonial Manor Inn. I'm delighted you had a good time here. I am aware of the WiFi problem and we are working on this issue.
