We spent June and July travelling from Vancouver BC to Quebec City and then throughout Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, consequently we stayed in some very good accommodations and some, not so good. Captain's Legacy was by far the best. The breakfasts were excellent, the rooms clean and comfortable and our hosts went out of their way to ensure our every...

Beautiful home, wonderful hosts, fantastic breakfasts, comfortable bed, and a fun time. What more could we ask for? John and Addie welcomed us to their home as if we had known them forever. Clean, spotless home and perfect location to explore this beautiful town of Twillingate. You won't be disappointed. Book early as this B&B is in demand! Thank you...

Newfoundland is about a lot of things but it is especially about the people. John and Addie of Captain's Legacy exemplify this to the fullest and from the first moment you will feel surrounded by caring and comfort. Our room was beautifully decorated, the bathroom was enormous and everywhere you could see attention to detail. Breakfast is scrumptious, especially the...

I would highly recommend Captain's Legacy, where my wife and I stayed for two nights. The hosts, John and Addie, were extremely gracious and the historic home is very well maintained. Our second-floor room, the Elizabethan, had a great view across the bay. Others in our party occupied the Captain's Quarters (larger) and the Regency (smaller). There is a comfortable...

Great facility, location and proprietors . Every detail has been well thought out and presented. A super B & B with tons of history attached to it. John and Addie are to be complimented on what they have accomplished is such a short time. A must stay at place if you are in the area. Twillingate is at the top...

We stayed at Captain Legacy's B&B for one night as they were booked. And I know why. They are the nicest people you would want to meet ,especially as host and hostess. The view is to live for , just beautiful .Sitting on the front porch was very relaxing . The breakfast was cooked to perfection , and the homemade...

Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The host and hostess, John and Addie were very knowledgeable of the history of the region. The breakfasts were delicious and served with a smile. Especially loved the scones. We also had the privilege of meeting the neighbors, Jack and Florence! Lovely folks!

I had the privilege of staying at this beautiful historic home in July. The ocean view is breathtaking and you couldn't ask for better hosts as I felt at home the moment I arrived. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and comfortable. In the morning you can enjoy homemade scones which are so good, especially my favourite coconut one. There...

My husband and I stayed in the Captain's Legacy for two nights in June and would return in a heartbeat. From the minute you pull in the drive, you know that you have arrived somewhere special, such is the care and attention given to this historic property, though of course it is the hosts John and Addy that give this...
