Real Ale brewed on site and food was freshly prepared and delicious. Can't help thinking. "Why isn't there more of this on the island". Food for thought for someone with the experience. Anyway the guy who runs it was really nice and made us feel at home.

Just back from a week in the guesthouse. Everyone loved it. It's on a quiet side of the island near some beautiful beaches but accessible to everything if you have a car. The accommodation had 5 bedrooms which I think is a rare find in Tiree and meant everyone had their own space. The living room is cosy with a...

Booked this for ourselves and another couple on recommendation of B&B owner and strength of reviews - and were not disappointed Our host (Duncan) made us feel very welcome, and his enthusiasm for the food is evident (home made chutney is delicious). Everything we had was cooked well and presented nicely. This was the best evening meal we had on...

We had a wonderful dinner at Ceabhar on 15.5.15. Rather gloomy weather when we arrived, but we received a warm welcome from the host. Enjoyed delicious local seafood & tender roast pork, followed by home made profiteroles, all accompanied by a fine selection of beers from Oban & Skye. As we ate, the clouds cleared & we were rewarded with...

This restaurant was a real treasure with wonderful food ! Great service in a lovely laid back atmosphere. We would have returned several times if we could. The specials on the day were delectable. They have a good range of beers and we're happy to assist with selection. Everyone enjoyed their meals :) Even the fussy eater !

We had done 16 mile walk that day and arrived scruffy and tired. Did not matter as welcome was warm, friendly and instantly homely. Really liked Duncan’s enthusiasm for the food he and his wife were serving. His description of it was passionate but totally unpretentious. He just loved the food and you could easily tell. He was also right...

We were on Tiree in s/c accommodation during May and dined at Ceabhar restaurant twice. It would be hard to find a restaurant anywhere, let alone a small island, where the reception was so friendly and service exactly right. Duncan and Polly made us so welcome. The menu is imaginative and strives to use locally sourced ingredients as much as...

We visited the restaurant on 9th April. A very warm welcome from Duncan and a great and affordable menu which suited us all - kids, vegetarians and fuss-pots included! The restaurant is small and everything is cooked to order. Delicious food and a nice clean environment. Such a pity there aren't more places like this in Tiree. You will need...
