A very friendly host but the B&B is quite run down. Noisy location (inches from the main road) but convenient as its directly in the center of Westerham. The rooms were unkept and filthy, as was the bathroom with missing tiles and pillows lying on the floor. Nice and comprehensive breakfast but I would not have wanted to see the...

My wife and I ( 63 and 68 yrs young) had a 17 day stay in May after travelling from Australia. The antiquity ( 800 yrs old ) of Yew Tree Cottage was appealing. We were booked in to stay as we were attending a wedding on Saturday, but unfortunately had to cancel on Friday due to illness. Richard was lovely on the phone and understood completely, even wishing me a speedy recovery. We will definitely consider booking again if we go that way in the future.

One shortcoming of the village however, has been a lack of affordable accommodation. Not any more! I was lucky enough to discover the charms of Yew Tree...

Well, not bad for a first review. I am very pleased that you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again soon. As you say, work continues and there is still a bit to do. However, the aim is still to be comfortable without being 'fluffy or chintzy'. I should say that the one consistent complaint is that the...
