Booked a room in January 2016 at a cost of £80 to celebrate a friends wedding, so expected a decent room, it turned out to be a bit of a nightmare. My wife and I arrived after one pm and booked in at reception and allocated room 19,it must have been the smallest double room available, only one small window which...

We have just come back from a 2 night stay being guests at a family wedding. Our accommodation was in one of the bungalows which are in the grounds of this hotel. The room was large and very clean. There are lovely views from the patio with doors opening into our room. The food was excellent and reasonable prices for...

Tuesday nights are steak nights. Guaranteed a two course good meal. Good quality food. Choice of nice wines. Tuesday's are reasonable prices. Served in a relaxing informal and helpful atmosphere. Downside never the same staff - always new faces. We could do with another special night in the week - another night off from cooking.

Attended a wedding at this hotel and I have to say everything was brilliant. The organisation, the food, the managment of the proceedings and the evening entertainment were all brilliant. I have two issues. 1. No bar service after midnight even for residents. 2. We had a luxury/superior room. 1. Having worked all over the UK and stayed in hotels...

Very hit and miss this place. Unfortunately Sunday carvery seems to be a miss. They'd run out of a number of items but kept restocking the things that hadn't run out! Staff very indifferent, seems to be if you're not there for a wedding then you're something of an inconvenience.

The hotel was surprisingly spacious, three large function rooms, nice bar and restaurant areas, and beautiful gardens, with a landscaped are including a pool and a gazebo. Our room was one of the "bungalows" and had a great countryside view, as well as some imaginative lighting. The bathroom was a "Wetroom" type, which I 'm not too sure about, but...
