Arrived at the pub. Looked ok. Went upto to the room was very small but clean, it wasn't too noisy and bed was comfy, used the toilet at 12 o'clock ( the toilet makes a horrible loud noise when flushed) the toilet kept re filling every few minutes and made this loud noise for hours through the night. Neither me...

Clean and well appointed rooms, not too many stairs and free parking, easy walk to restaurants. We stayed her as we were going to football in Manchester so it was a good base and only 20 minutes to the gound via the train.

Really, really disappointed with this place. Myself and a friend who is also from out of the area booked a twin room here to use as a base while we had a weekend meeting. We chose here as opposed to one of the big chains as we prefer to give the small guys our money. That's just the way we...

Great place to overnight before our very early flight from Manchester airport.Only Premier inn could match the comfort of the bed,had a good few hours sleep. Room & en-suite clean & facilities adequate for what we needed. We ate in the pub, menu choice very good & food itself excellant, could not fault it. Service good. Thanks Dot & Adie...

This was almost a last minute booking and we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation although access to our room is not for the disabled as there are a number of stairs that charmingly twist and turn. The room was delightfully presented and clean with ensuite facilities. Good size car park to the side of the pub. Lovely staff and...

A perfect spot for an overnight stay before an early trip to Manchester Airport. Good value for money, clean, great location, nice bar & great for an independent stay and a place to begin your holiday.

We stopped in here for a pint of Guiness which was really good! Sat in the beer garden which like the pub could use some TLC. We ordered a light bite which wasn't to our taste so we left it. Menu could use some work! We were the only ones in the pub which was a shame. On the whole...

We booked this room over the pub (that's our room in the photo) for our last night on a 17-night tour of Yorkshire. What a treat. Alan was welcoming -- you go in through the pub, and are led through the maze up to the rooms. Comfy beds, good washroom, congenial atmosphere in the pub itself. Alan assisted by arranging...

Stayed here on a business trip as it was conveniently located and reasonably cheap to book a room. It's a traditional style pub with very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. No issues on that front. The accommodation is cosy but basic and expectedly so for the price. The room was clean in appearance as was the ensuite bathroom. However, the...
