It was okay. More like someone's house than a hotel. Beds were clean and comfortable. Shower room very basic. Breakfast was adequate - full English. I stayed with friends here for a night out so we weren't in the room except to get ready and sleep. I don't think I would have felt comfortable here on my own. Very close...

The breakfast is the best i have had at any hotel, lovely staff in the breakfast room, I arrived in the dark, hard to find correct entrance. Then even harder to find my room as not numbered in sequence. Room was double but was really small. Good TV but no remote. great power shower but bathroom flooded as shower blocked....

Hello, I just wanted to let you know of my experience at the Banks hotel, Ilford. I checked in late last night and had to check out at 3am in the morning due to the filthiest room I have EVER encountered. When speaking to the night manager he told me he would not refund or move to another room and...

When reading reviews I was worried but went in open minded to see for my self, we booked family room reception looked quite welcoming. Once we turned corner towards room carpets are quite worn and dated but not a major problem as its not a 5* the room seemed ok again quite dated but not bad on closer inspection the...

Stayed here for one night for work. Soon after booking my colleague was reading the reviews on here and warned me to take a sleeping bag in case I found myself sleeping in the car. There was no need to panic. The room was clean, the bed was made and breakfast was hot and decent. For £55 on the edge...

We read the other TripAdvisor reviews after we booked this hotel so understadably we were quite wary when we checked in for one night when we were in London for work. As we are also qualified pest controllers we decided to check out the rooms as soon as we arrived in case we decided to sleep in the car instead....

We stayed her for one night to settle our son into university accommodation. We were glad it was only one night. The room we were booked into reeked of cigarette smoke and the en suite reeked of dirty drains. The whole place was jaded and in desperate need of redecoration. Our pillows were rock hard and so uncomfortable and we...

The hotel was very basic. The room itself was in a "dirty" condition, there was crisp packets, tissues and God knows what else on the floor. The bed still had make up and mascara stains on, whether it had been washed previously I'm not sure. Bathroom was like a sauna, but again dirty with a broken floor and the toilet...
