We've been driving part the Selsey Arms for years and have not visited since 2005. We decided on the spur of the moment to call in for lunch, however as soon as we entered the pub I knew we were not going to stay, let alone eat there. The overall smell of the place was stale cigarettes and stale beer,...

Food excellent. Company brilliant. Service great. So why not 5 stars. The next table were noisy not overly careful with their language and generally a pain. This however is probably to be expected on the run up to xmas. Selsey Arms 5 stars some customers 2 stars. Definitley we will go again.

Real little country pub, low wooden beams etc. hanging baskets, pretty garden. Charming staff, nothing too much trouble. And the food....really delicious, reasonable and not long to wait. We stayed in one of the 2 en suite rooms in the garden. Clean and comfortable. On main road but good supply of drinks, biscuits, etc and toiletries. Had to change feather...

We have been here 3 times, mainly for the Lobster at £19.99, unfortunately each time, we have had to wait a long time for our meal due to lack of staff and organisation. The food is reasonable, apart from the Sea Bass which was a small fillet, overpriced and burnt. Disappointing.

When we want a good lunchtime or evening meal in an old English pub then visiting The Selsey Arms is a must. We visit at least once a month normally lunchtime prior to a bit of shopping in Horsham. I am a crab fanatic hence why I drive 20 miles to visit this pub. Very friendly atmosphere with regulars and...

I have went past this pub many times without really noticing it - but while visiting the Garage opposite we thought we would try the Selsey Arms for lunch. The chicken, ham and leak pie was supper yummy - just the right kind of pie for a brisk winter day. And my partner enjoyed the not so winter like Ploughmans!...

My wife and I plus her parents decided at the last minute to go out for lunch. The Selsey Arms has a great fish menu as well as a traditional pub menu. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would recommend this pub to our friends.

I had two fantastic meals and stayed in a very comfortable ensuite room that has recently been refurbished. Very high standards, friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. The beer was good too (nice pint of tribute ale and there were two others to choose from).

Some dishes on Daily Menu were not available and the meals came on cold plates. I had curry which was quite nice but wouldn't choose it again. Soda machine was not working. Friends had been before and it was much better. For it being my first time I was disappointed. But the staff were really good
