I got ready for my wedding and spend our first night at this hotel 21 years ago when it was The Edgwarebury and it was wonderful then. I have always been reluctant to go back in case it wasn't as good and it spoilt the memory somehow. I needn't have worried. I originally booked afternoon tea for my Mum and...

I've given the hotel a 4* rating because I spoke to a lovely lady on the phone and she upgraded our room because it was my partners birthday.. She wasn't to know that I have a horrible bad back ( which was particularly playing up last night)and two flights of steep stairs really don't go well with me.. I hadn't...

pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, a good selection of sandwiches made with different types of bread which made a difference from the standard finger sandwiches that you get for afternoon tea. As much tea or coffee that you require but you have to pay extra if you desire more sandwiches. I think it would be a wonderful place to have afternoon...

This hotel is amazing. You should check it out. We were put into a room called Victoria which was fantastic. We really enjoyed our visit and they made us feel welcome. The only downside was some other hotel guests who had too much to drink and decided to make noise the whole Saturday night. We complained to no avail to...

Thank you for this lovely review on your recent stay at The Manor. I am delighted that you found the hotel "amazing" I am so sorry that other guests spoiled the later part of your evening. Recently went for afternoon tea. There were 5 of us and it was superb, from the beautiful China tea cups to the delicious food. The vegetarian sandwich selection was excellent which makes a nice change. The scones and cakes were also delicious. The whole ambience was wonderful, and the tea kept getting topped up. There was no pressure to hurry...

I was deciding between here and the grove for afternoon tea for my mums birthday. In the end I chose here and I am SO glad I did. The waiter was so nice and helpful. He was telling us some of the history of the house and even showed us around the bridal suite afterwards. It's such a beautiful place...

Gourmet food at reasonable prices. Good service but perhaps lacking ambience. A few minor adjustments and I would have given it 5 stars. Ps: excellent Romanian waiter who very kindly gave us a tour of the lovely hotel suites.
