Excellent value for money as are all Premier inns. Beware of the bottle opener. When opening a bottle I had a bad experience where the neck of the bottle broke off with the metal cap, causing a serious cut to my finger

Greeted by a very pleasant receptionist. Check in was swift and receptionist gave advice for the next day in terms of shopping! Room was very small and needed some love but having said that the bed was comfy and we slept well. Breakfast was taken in the restaurant next door - good as always. If you just want to put...

We travelled from Scotland to Cannock for a family funeral, we had a lovely warm welcome and the room had everything that we needed. The pub/restaurant was good in particular the breakfast was great and I had one of the best omelettes ever. We had no complaints at all.

Stopped here for a Christmas party. The hotel is great, very quiet, clean. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was tidy, well presented and the bed was really comfortable. We had a great nights sleep and woke up feeling refreshed. Would definitely recommend this hotel for local events/attractions and would not hesitate to stay here...

one of the older Premier Inns now and maybe in need of an upgrade in the near future. However, spotlessly clean and well looked after. The staff here are incredibly pleasant and made me feel very welcome. Plenty of parking space and the nearby pub/restaurant is comfortable and one of the better chains. Room rates were very reasonable too.

Travelling up and down the M6 gets worse and worse so we decided to break up the journey by stopping overnight here. The lady on reception was friendly and very helpful, helping us to find somewhere alternative to eat as the beefeater, opposite was full. Room very clean and functional.

Visiting family in the area this was an excellent choice in terms of value, standards and location. The only bugbear that it is a bit of haul to walk the town centre if you wanted to explore and the advantage of the restaurants there.

Staff were very courteous and helpful however due to age of building there was a problem with electric sockets around the bed in room 20. Sockets were required for essential medical equipment however an extension lead was provided. During the night the dripping gutter outside the window became a little like water torture however a pair of borrowed earplugs seemed...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Have the best of both worlds. Stay at the heart of the motorway and rail network, but just a stone's throw away from some serious tranquillity. Premier Inn Cannock South puts you five minutes from the M6, and just a stroll away from the heathland and woodland of Cannock Chase. Get into the swing of things with a round of golf. Take a hike on Cannock Chase, or take a mountain bike down some gruelling trails. Cast off on the Fairoak fishing pools. Then catch a tasty Beefeater grill back at Cannock South, and at the end of the day, fall into our huge comfy beds for a restful night's sleep. Directions: Exit the M6 at Junction 11 and follow the signs for Cannock A460 until you see signs for Cannock Town Centre A4601. There will be a large traffic island with the Longford House Beefeater opposite - take the second exit and the Premier Inn is situated just behind.
