If you are staying in Alphen aan den Rijn, you have very few options for places to stay. The Avifauna hotel is about 5-10 minutes from the bus stop, which is a convenient way to get to/from Schiphol airport or the city center. The staff is friendly, the rooms are perfectly adequate, and your stay includes admission to the bird...

I was here for a week and my stay was very nice. An excellent breakfast with hot or cold options and you can eat as much as you like. Bedroom was very hot and window only opened slightly. Staff very kindly gave me a fan which improved my sleep greatly. There is a bar downstairs which serves cocktails with a...

We stayed for three nights as part of a bulb-field package. To be honest, we were not expecting much given the low price we had paid for the whole holiday package; which turned out to be very good value for money. How wrong we were in our original expectations. Our room contained a comfortable double bed, a single bed, with...

We were booked into this hotel on a coach trip to the Dutch bulb fields and Amsterdam visit. Our room was a 2 story suite with heated tiles and heated towel rack in the bath - that alone was enough to make our stay enjoyable! As a guest of the hotel you have free access to the bird park -...

Stayed her because it was near tulip park. Stayed in suite with two floors with only one bath upstairs for five. The single bathroom (shower and tub) is very large, and suite could have been designed with two bathrooms. Our five year old loved the childrens section of the Bird Park better than tulips, even though most of the park...

Stayed a few nights at the hotel. It is a very convenient location with ample of free car park space. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Checkin was a breeze. Room was a split level room which could be a concern for elderly or families with young children as the staircase is pretty steep. The bathroom is nice but...

The hotel is reasonable and clean, but very much out dated even the TV in the room is an old timer... The location is good and it is nicely situated next to the exotic bird parc Avifauna. Boat tours are also available and the city of Alphen ad Rijn is a nice modern city to visit

Hotel needs updating and renovating... It's like a 70s film set in desperate need of renovation... However the hotel is clean and for the purpose of business is adequate. The winner in this place what makes me return is the food in the restaurant... It has to be one of my favourite places to eat... The quality of the food...

The hotel is a little out dated but it was good enough for us, we stayed for only one night. The staff at the reception and I the bar is very friendly. The room (no. 115) we had was spacious but close to the elevator, it was noisy when people waiting for the elevator were talking. The beds were comfortable...
