We informed via email that we were 2 adults and 3 kids and they gave us a quotation for a double bed with a sofa. We got the surprise while checking in that the room wouldn't have been comfortable for 5! Thank you! Why you did not inform us before? The room would have been ok just for 3 persons. Mattress was very uncomfortable... The internal restaurant was ok although over priced.. Bad services as no permanent person at the reception. Breakfast nothing special.... not reccomend.

We had enjoyed a stay here some seven years before our recent visit. However, we discovered that since then there had been several changes of management and another is due in October 2019. We felt these rapid changes had led to staff being disinterested. The position is very good for views and there is some free car parking and the breakfast was okay. We had planned to eat dinner there but the loud music outside and in was unacceptable and the wine prices were too high so we went elsewhere and get a far better experience.

We were on a motorbike trip and needed a place for one night. Found this a bit old fashioned hotel and were overall satisfied with all: Friendly staff, the price, quiet, clean and well taken care of. Rich breakfast and good coffee.

Rooms are small neat and clean. Sitting perched at the base of a small ski area. Great views of the mountains. Only a few places to eat within walking distance. Can recommend restaurant Heida. The breakfast at the hotel is decent and the dinner was pretty good as well. The owner/manager was very accommodating. Make sure to try some of the local wine.

We visited this HotelRestaurant at 10 am took a seat on the terrace and ordered a bottle of local Heida white wine and a portion of 'Hobbelchääs', a special and popular hard/old cheese of Switzerland / canton of Valais. The wine was brought professionally in a wine cooler. Much to our astonishment a few minutes later a plate with pieces of 'Emmentaler', an ordinary soft and young cheese was put on our table with the comment that they had no 'Hobbelchääs' available..... First of all it is very strange that a hotel in a touristic area of this province does not have their own specialities available ... Secondly it is absolutely unacceptable that they did not inform us and ask us what we would like instead, but just giving us something we had not ordered. Definitely we are not going to visit this place again.
