This is a charming little hotel in comfy, artsy Guarda in the Engadine. Rooms appear to have been renovated. You can walk to mountain trails right from the front door but note that from the village train depot it will be a pretty rough uphill walk. Bus service is available. My advice -take it! The hotel has a nice outdoor...

While we were in Guarda, we only ate at the Piz Buin hotel as part of a Dinner, B&B formula: we had B&B at the Guarda Lodge and dined at the Piz Buin hotel. This is offered by the Guarda Lodge. They do this for the Hotel Meisser, too. However, as the Piz Buin hotel will be exploited by a...

We were due at a concert by the Allegri String Quartet at the church in Guarda. We took the train to Lavin and then walked along the valley on the north side of the river En. The walk was delightful and we were delighted to find the Hotel Piz Buin at the end of the village where we had a...

I stayed at the Hotel Piz Buin in September. While it was for only one night, I wish I had the time to stay much longer. The Hotel is located in a very beautiful Swiss village that you will want to take some time to wander through. The village itself is most often associated with the story "A Bell for...

Guarda is a very atmospheric village, and the Piz Buin is a good hotel to stay in while in Guarda. The south facing rooms with balcony, though fairly small, have an excellent view, and the hotel is in a quiet location at the end of the village. The food is quite good and the staff is friendly, and the hotel...

Switzerland is famed for its often poor service but this really took the cake and we still cannot believe how we were treated at this hotel. We were visiting the village. As it started to rain and we were right next to the Piz Buin, we (3 adults, 2 children) decided to stop there for a drink on the covered...

We just spent one night in this charming hotel as a part of our 5 day biking trip in this area. The staff was very friendly and took care of all of our needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a beautiful, peaceful place to stay in the picturesque village of Guarda.

We stayed 1 night (4 of us in 2 rooms) and were really impressed by the standard of the Hotel. The rooms were big, clean & comfortable, recently refurbished with views that are beautiful. We did book well in advance for the better rooms and were delighted with the balcony overlooking the outdoor garden with mountain views in the distance....

Room had awesome view of mountains and had a balcony which was lovely, even with cushions for the seats. The hotel has an outdoor hot tub (which could stand to be a little hotter) and a lovely lawn sitting area. Also a nice sauna and steam room. Only downside was that hotel staff was not super helpful with information for...

I stay in this hotel only for 1 night but I think that is one of the best hotels I ever been (and one of the cheapest also…). We had a room n° 28 (the last room in the second floor) so really quiet, we had a balcony with mountains view (amazing in the morning …) , the beds were...
