This hotel is a place we return to year after year. The location is excellent, one of the few hotel with direct excess to the lake. This time we travelled by train from Bern to Locarno then took the 316 bus which is just opposite the train station to Brissago. There is a ship station a few minutes walk from...

There's really not much more to add to that title: - very friendly staff - amazing location (beautiful view onto the lake & quiet) - nice and clean room - good breakfast offer - immediate access to the lake with a private area for hotel guests The only thing that could be improved are the beds, they are relatively hard....

Very friendly, very clean and very satisfactory. If you are looking for 5 star luxury, try another place. If you ant a good view, good service and a great breakfast, this is the place for you. A bit noisy street wise, otherwise nice. Also no restaurant.

Small privately owned hotel that puts customer service top of the list. The rooms are excellent with fantastic views and the breakfast was a treat. It's not 5 star luxury with all the trimmings and doesn't pretend to be but I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. An example of customer service was the owner moving his car out of his...

From the moment one steps foot in this little private hotel, one feels looked after. The position is just to the south of the town on the main road and the delightful garden has paths which wind their way down to the lake side so one can enjoy the plants, sun or bathe in the lake. Breakfast is served on...

You can't beat the location of this super clean, family-owned, 3-star hotel; it's only a stone's throw away from the main thoroughfare in Brissago, bus service, lakeside promenade, local restaurants/cafes, and boat access to major attractions in Ticino (Cannobio market, Isole di Brissago, Borremeo Islands, etc). Simply appointed, the rooms offer spectacular views of Laggo Maggiore. Hotel guests also have...

This was our first visit to this hotel. The staff was helpful and kind when we arrived, there were plenty of brochures in the lobby for ideas of what to do in town. The location is great! We were only a 10 minute drive away from everything that we wanted to see! The view from our bedroom window was fantastic!...

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Rivabella au Lac and each time surpasses the last. The very warm welcome from Ugo Quaglia, the spotlessly clean, simply furnished rooms with lovely views over the garden to the lake all combine to offer a wonderful long or short break in Tessin. Breakfast, served by charming, local staff on...

This was our second visit to this hotel and one of many to quiet and pretty little Brisaggo. while the hotel is right on a busy main road, its design means that most rooms face the lake and traffic noise is almost non-existent. The views over Lago Maggiore and onto the Italian shores are stunning, both from the front-facing bedrooms...
