We stayed here for 2 weeks It is a massive building, in between refurbishment. The refurbished rooms are very nice. We had a 1 bed apartment which was comfortable with a sofa and tv, and kitchenette consisting of hot plate and mini tabletop oven, fridge, kettle. The rooms are good size and bathrooms are good size too. Although the hotel...

The building has maintained the charme and elegance of an old Palace Hotel, very well positioned between lake and mountains. Impressive hall and ballroom, long corridors and a wonderful veranda recalling the golden era of the European cafè-society. The restoration suggests the ancient luxury without having deleted it under a glittering, contemporary one, as it happened in many old Grand...

We (family of four, ages 17-55) had a family suite that included a kitchenette and balcony. It was wonderful to stay in a restored 19th c grand hotel, modernized. The staff was very pleasant, the room very clean and comfortable.

Engadin is off the beaten track--no question about it. The Maloja Palace is opulent and l-a-r-g-e so expect to do a lot of walking inside and out of the hotel. Generally, the hotel service was more than adequate, but the dining service was a cut above the rest! it was a stay of luxury, without the luxurious price. There isn't...

Palace for sure, it's massive!! Of course we went in low season, but out of the 130+ rooms I think we were one of only 4 people staying! The rooms were nice actually and had a nice balcony. there is no bar there which is strange and maybe just the time of the year, however the staff ( two of...

20 minutes from St. Moritz center by car. Bus runs hourly. Right at the other end of the lake cluster and literally the end of Upper Engadin valley. During winter season it operating in their palace building (since the 1800's). Gorgeous refurbished building with vast hotel private ground (bbq grill, huge parking lot, secluded view to the lake and far...

We arrived at the St Moritz train station where we found out that our reservations were in Maloja 45 min to an hour away by bus. Taxi was 90 euros Once there or room was isolated, floor creaked, safe didn't work, bathroom was renovated but privacy in the first floor window was a sheer drape, at night you bathe in...

We had a 2-bedroom apartment which was a great size, with super bathrooms. The cooking facilities were quite basic but adequate for a few days (a two-ring hob with some saucepans and a small counter-top oven). Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, even putting a high chair in our room for our wee...

The view in this area is spectacular. You are next to St Moritz which is great. Hotel more grand rather then new and modern. Very large- high ceilngs - big rooms. We stayed in a newly renovated room - really nice and comfortable!! very clean.

We stayed at this hotel recently, and were very impressed. The hotel is situated in the village of Maloja which is about 20 minutes by car or a short bus ride away from St Moritz. Having visited in the summer months, I cannot comment on the skiing aspect, but in the summer the view and surrounding area is breathtaking. There...
