First of all, we had a great time. So much for the kids to do and the entertainment team worked really hard to make it fun. Loads of choice of pools for all ages and the water park is great. Food is ok, didn't pay 5* prices so weren't expecting Michelin star quality food. But plenty of choice for all 7 of us and typical all inclusive food for a 3* hotel. I'd maybe suggest some neon blue light traps for the flies in the BBQ restaurant though. There were quite a few around and can be a bit off putting to eat when they are in those quantities. Rooms were small but very clean, in fact we were given 7 fresh towels each day per room as they provide some pool towels as well as bathroom ones. You even get a free umbrella for the room. Which unfortunately we had to use on one of the days. The safe is a little on the expensive side. €40+ for 10 nights. But again not the most expensive hotel to book so can live with that. Staff are all great and very helpful. If you have kids, you want a good solid 4* hotel at a 3* price then look no further. There is even a free shuttle but to the beech and back. If you want a 5* carribean holiday, then guess what..... pay for a 5* carribean holiday and don't book this one and then come on here to complain.!!

I thought nothing could put do last years holiday but Iv been here 3 days and it’s been 3 days of problems such a big let down and no one seems to carry at all or want to do anything about it. When we arrived I asked for a ground floor room as I have a broken arm and didn’t want to pull the cases up the stairs as they don’t have lifts here. Guy gave us a top floor room nice cheers for the help. The room they gave us was tiny for a family of 4 the kids where in the same room as me and my wife on a pull out sofa bed. But it’s ok because guess what you can upgrade signs all all over the lobby stating this. I advised that I would have paid the extra money when we first booked but there was no option to do this but all of a sudden you have bigger rooms. You have to pay for a safe a bloody safe I haven’t paid for a safe for nearly 15 years it’s standard these days. Then we got told it’s not a 4 star ask advertised it’s actually a 3 officially but tui give there own grad of 4. There’s no tv in the adults bedroom phone line doesn’t work bathroom is tiny. The water park only has 3 double rubber rings and 3 single rubber rings so queues are long to the point you just give up and people won’t give them up easy to let you ride. 3 of the restaurants are closed so what I paid for isn’t what I’m getting. The only restaurant open is buffet and that’s a free for all no one over seeing what is going on or placing people just a big bundle for space. I get it is end of season but you still expect a standard to be kept. The waiting staff aren’t helpful at all just play dum. One of the outside bars is closed all day and it’s a pain to walk round the pool every time to get drinks. There is one English lady working there that is helpful and told us it was only a 3 star. It’s ok for kids as there as two play pools with slide and stuff as well as a bubble pool. Outside entertainment area is undercover so if it does ran it’s a place to go other than your room. But honestly if you want cheap and nasty then go here or you just need to get away and aren’t bothered about conditions go for this. If you have standards and some respect for your family don’t go here. It takes me back to my teens and early 20’s when we just rocked up and crashed in the room and was on the lash all day.

This is an honest review without nit-picking and, yes, I have had holidays all over the world, some good and some not so good . This hotel is great for families. All the staff from reception to restaurant to animation to bar to cleaners are friendly and polite and do their best to accommodate their guests. I have read some complaints about the lifeguards but I'm sure the parents of the little girl who I saw being saved from the main pool will not be complaining. These lifeguards sit all day making sure that a lot of children, who obviously can't swim, are safe. The variety of pools and slides is amazing with specific areas to suit all ages of children and adults. Rooms are cleaned every day, including fresh towels, and are sufficient for holiday requirements. We went close to end of season but the variety of food in the main restaurant, grill and snack bar was very good. If you can't find something to eat then I would be interested to know what is on your menus at home!! The hotel is set in well-kept grounds with the paved pool areas cleaned constantly. No food is allowed near the pools which is great as some guests find it a chore to even collect their used plastic glasses and put them in the bins provided. All-in-all, a really good hotel which we are planning to take our 2 grandsons to visit. I am sure they will love it.

Dear Scottie, We wish to thank you for your honest no nit picking review, really refreshing. We are pleased to read your satisfaction with your room, and your kind words about our staff and highlighting the food . we try our utmost to stop people eating around the pool and although it is displayed everywhere it still happens. We are sure your grandsons will love it when you bring them to stay as the pools and slides are fantastic for the children. We look forward to welcoming you and them back and hope the next holiday is soon. Best regards Globales Quality Manager

This is as honest as I can be for our experience at the hotel. Firstly the hotel really doesn’t deserve all the really negative reviews. It’s not 5 star but the resort was lovely and clean and food and drink was available all day. The food was a little repetitive but mostly if was tasty and we all enjoyed what we ate. The bbq restaurant was nice for a bit of a change during the day, and also the splash park bar served things that were a little different like hotdogs. The cakes in the main restaurant were lovely and there was always fresh fruit. A lot of reviews say that ice creams are not included on all inclusive, however we found them everyday for our children, there was a freezer at the side of splash pool bar full of them. If We had to pick anything we’d say that the breakfast was our least favourite meal, they could maybe do with an omelette station, like most all inclusive have. The pools were amazing, there are loads of them! The splash park looked fab but we didn’t use the big slides as our kids are 1 and 7 and preferred the main pool just to swim. The main pool was cold but no colder than any other pool I have jumped in abroad. Staff were all lovely and we never really had a problem. You are told at checkin there is an app with resort info for you to download, the qr code is on The back of the key card. The bus to the beach was handy although we walked most days and it took us around 15 mins, strolling. If you fancy a nice walk you can walk up to the medieval castle in around half an hour. There’s a little bar for drinks there for a nice rest! We then walked down to Cala Millor in around 30 mins, which is busier and bigger than sa coma. Sillot is also a nice little walk along the sea front, here there are a few sea front bars which were reasonable. The main reason I gave only 4 stars is due to the entertainment at night time. Although there was some, it was on too late as the kids disco didn’t start till 9pm and was more targeted at toddlers, so my 7 year old was bored. There is however, bouncy castles and things for the kids which you pay for but they weren’t to expensive. All in all we had a lovely time here and would return if we found a good deal. Anyone worried about going abroad due to testing and locator forms need not worry it was definitely do able and well worth it for some sun!

Dear Debbie, Thank you for the great review we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and the pools, hope the children enjoyed the smaller slides and spash parks. Fantastic that you did the walk over to Cala Millor the views are lovely. Have noted your comment about the Breakfast, and will take this up. The entertainers have now brought the mini disco forward to 20.30 and also the shows are on at 21.30. not all children enjoy the mini disco. We do hope you will return if not to Bouganvilla maybe to one of the other hotels or resorts in the Globales Chain. KInd regards Globales Quality Manager

Arrived back last night wow what a Fantastic place swimming pools yes plenty of them for the kids and a massive big pool. With loads of sun beds and parasols.Free shuttle bus to the beach was great. Food was very nice and a great selection staff really friendly they couldn't do enough to help you out. TUI rep Anna was a great help as I was stuck on the return location form it was not a problem for her to spend the time to help me out. Only problem due to being disabled we was in room 445. On the ground floor was woken up every night with people walking up and down the stairs.we are looking to stay here again but would definatly ask for a different room on the other side of the swimming pool where the rooms are set back. WELL DONE ALL OF YOU KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
