Lovely hotel, staff friendly and work hard. We stayed half board and food was good. Drink prices and lunch reasonable too. Pool was cold that time of year. Beds by pool got busy but we always found a bed up on the roof terrace. Room wasn’t huge but plenty big enough for two with walk in shower. Location good with buses a 5 min walk up to main road. Bus to Palma to see cathedral took about half hour worth visit. Hotel right near shops and beach. You can get little train all way along beach to Arenal and back. Arenal a younger livelier resort so we stayed on train and got back off further down. The walk back lovely with lots of shops etc. quite area but you do hear planes all the time in the day. Not so much at night so wasn’t a real problem. Beds comfy and aircon in room. Would recommend. You have to pay for safe in room. All in all would recommend.

I had a fantastic time at the JS Plama Stay (20th - 26th June 2024). The hotel staff were very helpful - especially on the 20th June when I checked-in late (after 9pm) because my flight had been delayed. The lady on reception was so helpful (very welcoming and professional) and the chef had made some food for me (as I had missed the evening meal service) - this helped alot after a long day of travelling. Again the hotel reception staff (same lady who greeted me at reception after 9pm on the 20th June (sorry I didn't ask her name) - she was lovely and she went to great lengths to ensure I had directions to the beach and was able to get to Palma easily. The staff in the restaurant and at the bar were also very helpful and the bar staff were always cheerful and welcoming.
My room was very clean and I liked the colour scheme - bright and colourful. The location of this hotel is fantastic - few minutes walk to the beach and also the bus (number 35) that takes you to Palma is 5 minutes walk away, as well as supermarket for bottles of water etc.
The food at the hotel is also very good - I liked the mix of meat dishes (very tasty) and salads with some desserts. I chose half board to help with my budget and I'm pleased I did that.
The rooms don't all have kettles but I asked at reception and I was given a kettle, so I think you need to ask if you want a kettle - the receptionist was happy to find it for me. The Spa is also lovely and very clean/modern- the pools with various water jets and one pool which is outside - so also relaxing in that spa pool on a hot day was so calming.
In general, this is a lovely hotel where you can just spend your time there to relax or as a base to enjoy more of the island. I also like the hotel because while it was busy it seemed to be mainly couples and adult groups but there were no Hen or Stag groups (there were no noisy drunken groups making lots of noise) -there was a lovely balance of busy with a peaceful atmosphere.
I also travelled alone and I think it's a good hotel for single travelers. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I hope to stay again in the future. Thank you JS Player Stay for a lovely holiday.

The positives Very close to the airport so transfer time is only 15 mins, however that does mean that you can see and hear planes flying over, not a problem for us. Adult only. Room was very clean and nice and roomy. We had good sea views. Staff were all really nice and friendly even in some difficult situations. Plenty of variety for breakfast and evening meal.
The negatives We arrived just after 12pm but our room wasn’t ready until after 2pm. Reception staff very keen on trying to upgrade you so you got a room that was ready. Rooms should be ready for guests with earlier flights. ( this will also be mentioned to jet2 ) We couldn’t get into our room because the batteries were low in the lock. A cleaner banged on the panel a couple of times and told us to do that ! Not needed as a handyman arrived and changed the batteries. Although our room was cleaned every day, one day the cleaner arrived at 8.25 am, far too early. Sun beds were reserved every day by the usual get up early and throw our towels on a bed then go and do something else. I witnessed only once hotel staff go around the pool and check beds and they removed two towels. Not enough sun beds for the amount of guests so it won’t be good in peak time. Health and safety wise, around the pool is VERY SLIPPY! I had a scooby doo moment, how I managed to stay upright I have no idea! I’m pretty sure someone will break a bone it’s that bad. Lunch time was a disaster, the two girls in there did their best but our first time in there I had eaten my lunch by the time my sister’s meal came out, 40 mins after mine. We tried again the next day and well what a disaster that was. Waiting well over an hour for hot dog and chips, when they came out the chips were raw and the hot dogs were cold. Again staff very apologetic but we walked out and never bothered again. Another couple also walked out before us. The hotel needs more staff on a lunchtime. The staff there tried their best so this is not a complaint about them. We only saw one act which were a Cuban singing pair, they were not good and we lasted half an hour and that was only because we felt sorry for them as there were only 8 people watching them.
All in all we had a nice relaxing break but we would not return to the hotel due to the points above.

Great all round performance from JS Palma Stay once more everything we encountered during our week was high standard and the staff very accommodating Inc our cleaner who was at reception on our booking out at 7am in the morning who told the receptionist our room numbers how about that for memory. From pool side bar to restaurant to rooms JS is just 5*. Only possible downside is they allow small pet dogs in rooms and around the poolside during the day whilst it didn't really bother us it questions if the rooms are let out specifically for dog owners as for myself I do have allergy to some dogs !. Food is great choice varied for breakfast and tea. Entertainment suitable for up market style adult only hotel relaxing singers, pianist, violinist. If you like rowdy adult only hotels this is NOT for you. Close to Airport doesn't affect you and close to Palma for a 5 mile gentle cycle ride for the day. Hire of bike a mere 8 euros for a full day. Out of 10 give this hotel 11 I will be back for our fourth visit very soon.

I stayed here 8th August 2022 for 4 nights. Arrived at around midnight after delayed flight, I got a bus from Palma airport which cost €5 and stopped at the top of the road, less than 5 mins walk, there is even a sign directing you to the hotel. The man on reception was really nice and helpful, I got into my room then popped down to the seafront as there were still people about.
I went half board and I'm not sure I will next time, purely became I don't eat much and I'm extremely fussy although saying that, there was always something I could find to eat. Free water and juice at breakfast but you pay for drinks at dinner, which as someone who doesn't drink alcohol, this doesn't bother me at all.
The pools are lovely, clean and I saw the cleaner and pool maintenance guy every morning, I had no problems getting a bed at about 8/9am on one of the days, most days I was out. There is even a swim up bar which I thought was cool.
The best thing about this place is the spa facilities, barely anyone uses them so I spent most of my "pool time" in there, its so peaceful and you get a nice pool experience without the sun beaming down on you constantly, which was handy when it was 36 degrees lol I didn't get the chance to go up to use the jacuzzi, mainly because I couldn't be doing with the stairs lol
Room was spotless, you can put a sign on the handle to signal if you want the room cleaned or not. It came with a mini fridge, I don't drink hot drinks so I'm not fussed about tea making facilities but I'm pretty sure you can request them at reception. I didn't think the air con was the greatest and spoke to reception about it, then when I got back they had sorted it for me, although it still could have done with being cooler.
I hired a towel for a €10 deposit which I got back when I returned it on the day of departure, I also went and swapped it out for a fresh one at reception during my stay.
On the day of departure, my flight wasn't until 10pm so I checked out and was able to leave my luggage in their storage until I left for my flight.
The location of this hotel is great, 2 minutes to the nearest beach, short walk to Can Pastilla main bit which has so many shops and restaurants. Lots of buses available, I took the bus into Palma a few times and at €2 each way, you can't grumble at all, the buses don't take contactless or they didn't take my monzo card so make sure you have cash and a face mask as they are still mandatory on buses. (Or they were when I was there)
All in all, this hotel is absolutely stunning, the facilities are great, the staff are all nice, welcoming and helpful. As a lone female traveller, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and I love it that much, I have just booked to go back in May 2023!
I highly recommend booking directly through the JS website as they have the best prices, I managed to get a 10% discount on my next stay as a birthday gift, and speaking of birthdays, it was my birthday while I was there and they left a bottle of alcohol for me in my room, which was a nice touch, even though I don't drink 😀

Having paid almost CHF 3,500.- for 2 rooms for 5 nights, many things do not deserve 4 stars:
- no presentation of the hotel at check-in and no information given (breakfast time, SPA available, etc.) we discovered ourselves, on the last day, that there was a SPA, jacuzzi etc. - which at remaining was dirty!
- no towels for the swimming pool offered (they ask for a cash deposit of €30 which we obviously did not have when we arrived)
- surroundings of the swimming pool not clean. At no time during the day did the staff clean the surrounding area. Moreover, customers' drinks and waste remained on the deckchair tables all day. It was really filthy, not to mention the hair all over the floor….
- the rooms… nice but very small. The quality of cleaning needs to be reviewed. The cleaning lasted no more than 5 minutes and looking at the bathroom floor, it’s understandable. The ground was black. It is unacceptable. In addition, it is not specified that a fridge is available in the room so I asked the cleaning lady if it was possible to simply have 1 small bottle of water and I was told no it's only on arrival... a bit limited for a 4 star and in times of extreme heat!
- no private parking at the hotel. Anticipate well to find places nearby because reading the comments we said to ourselves that it would be easy to park and think again! Minimum 45’ walk to find a parking space. Once, the car was picked up and taken to the impound lot.
- breakfast ok for the price but on the other hand, the fruit in boxes is a big shame for a 4 star hotel! And I saw them with my own eyes...
- at checkout, not a word from the staff to ask how the stay was and not even a “welcome back”.
In summary, this hotel is a big disappointment. The service is not up to 4-star standards and I know why I went to the MELIA chain hotels instead.
It was way too expensive for what it was. I will not set foot there again and I will not recommend it to anyone around me. Damage!

I would like to say first this is a very Modern, Clean, Hotel, everything is high quality made and looking, Reception, Pool Area, Restaurant, Bar/Lounge, Spa, Indoor Pool, Sun Bathing Roof Terrace, the Standard Rooms are basic but ok for what you want them for sleeping and washing, some do not have great views, but I don't go on Holiday to sit in my room or a balcony, if you want to upgrade if the rooms are available you can do so. The Food choices in my wife's and my opinion were excellent, great Breakfast choice, Evening Meal plenty to choose from, yes often you get the same dishes, but there's plenty of other dishes to choose from, and it's all very tasty. Reception Staff excellent, very helpful, Bar Staff always busy and work very hard, especially round the Pool Area, but polite and helpful, there's no rush, when your on Holiday. Evening entertainment is good, we were to tied to stop up late, but from what I saw and heard great, the lounge was great to have a drink and unwind. The Hotel is situated in a great position, if you do not want to constantly sunbath, we walked to Palma along the Seafront Prom fantastic walk, in and out of the Small resorts along the Coast, takes about 1hr 45 mins with a Bar Stop, go the other way you get to El Arenal along the Prom, about 1hr 10 mins loads of Bars and Restaurants on the way, Buses run frequently 5 min walk from the Hotel, Bike Hire available (very popular). Ca'n Pastilla great resort very laid back, great Bars, Restaurants, Beach amazing goes on forever, I would state it's for the older generation if I'm honest, (we are both 60) if you want non stop partying go to El Arenal, but the Bars in Pastilla there's plenty of choice. All in All for what you pay it's a great Hotel as a Base, for exploring and unwinding, you are near to the Airport so be warned there is a lot of Plane noise, and it's constant, sometimes at busiest planes every 1 min 30 secs, but we got use to it, and they are amazing to watch, but the transfer time is about 15 mins max, in plain terms it's a City Hotel with Good, Clean facilities in a Great Resort, that has all you want, for you to enjoy your Holiday.

We were a party of 15 and 10 of us stayed at this lovely hotel over the course of a week at different intervals. Checked was quick and we were given information on the layout of the hotel. My room was on the 4th floor, it was clean and ok for a single person with limited sea views, however the shower cubicle was a bit small. The balcony was spacious and it was pleasure to sit in the mornings to enjoy the sun. My room was cleaned daily and given fresh towels. The shops and beach were 10 mins walk. The only downside for me was the pool area because it was small for the amount of guests. It was always crowded and busy and that was why we spent our days on the beach. There is a roof terrace, which we didn't use. The spa was very good and my family and friends said that it was the highlight of the hotel. The food was good and there was enough variation to cater for my food allergies. It was also lovely that the chef would come out at my request each evening and told me what was safe to eat. There was always 2 different dairy free options on the desserts and if not they were happy to make me something different to just fruits all the time. The environment was calm, peaceful and a pleasure to stay at, the staff was lovely and you were always greeted with a salutation. The A2 airport shuttle will take you to the hotel and its is 5 euros one way. Get off at the 2nd stop "C'an pastilla", then walk back to the 2nd road and walk 5 mins up the road. Taxi fare is about 12-13 euros but you will be charge 15 euros because it is the minimum fare from the airport. My family, friends and I had a wonderful time at this hotel and I thank you for allowing me to celebrate my birthday here. We will be back.

Friendly welcoming staff. My sister and I appreciated the welcome cool glass of water on arrival. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready but staff found an alternative room we could have so that we could check in early. We stayed in room 1023. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Both beds were pushed together to make a double but we pushed them back apart without difficulty to have twin beds. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels changed as needed. We asked for extra coat hangers and these were provided about 10 minutes later. We knew on booking to expect some noise from the planes as the hotel is on a flight path, this didn’t bother us at all and they weren’t that noisy anyway with good sound proofing in the rooms.
Plenty of sun beds were available and towels were removed if reserved before 9am.
There was so much choice of food, plenty of choice to cater for all. Omelettes cooked on request and evening meat freshly cooked in front of you. Restaurant staff were very helpful and polite too. Nothing was too much trouble. Good choice of food and drinks.
A great gym and spa facilities which were very well equipped and also had a clean 25m indoor pool for swimming lengths too.
We used the local 35 bus to travel into Palma which was easy to navigate with no difficulties and the last stop is at the cathedral.
The local area has a lovely beach with plenty of souvenir shops, restaurants and bars.
We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Not sure about single rooms, however I think Jet2 offered them. The block we were in faced the sea, however the other block was situated 90 degrees to the sea. I would imagine you could still see the beach from the balcony. We were allowed to check in at noon, but the official time was 14.00.
"When you book your stay in spring, you better choose half board because the food is terrific and some restaurants in the neighborhood has not yet opened "
