This was my first time in Mallorca and therefore my first time in the Helios Hotel, and I had a fantastic week. I joined a cycle group that has stayed at the hotel for several years now, and it is a perfect choice, especially for a cycling vacation. It has large secure bike rooms in the basement, wash station and even a wall with route suggestions in case you come alone and unprepared. The rooms are clean and generous with a balcony (I even had a personal written welcome card and beverages upon arrival on my desk, thank you Margherita!). The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, answering all my (relentless) questions about Mallorca and the hotel etc, accommodating me right away despite my too early arrival. As part of the cycling group I chose half board, so breakfast and dinner was always a fun social gathering with great food. The food choices were plenty (almost too much to choose from) and the staff enthusiastic and friendly, especially Salah at the grille and Alejandro and Mickey, accommodating also my special requests if some of my favorite items were not on display some days. On a rainy day the spa (that you can rent out privately) was a great way to warm up again after a cold ride. The location close to the airport and the beach is perfect to start your bike routes, or to just head to Palma quickly with a bus stop behind the hotel. The weather was still a bit too chilly for the beach or even for hanging by the pool for a long time, but I still jumped in and enjoyed the shoulder massage jet after a long ride and then hopped into the indoor pool to warm up. Time flew by, and for my next Mallorca cylcling trip Helios would definitely be my first choice again.

You don’t realise how professionally this hotel is run until you leave! Booked direct with the hotel for 2nd visit 13/10 for 5 nights and half board with no complaints. All areas of the hotel including rooms are modern, practical and very clean and it is a realistic expectation to hear other guests! This is our 3rd time in this hotel and again we were in Paradise.. I can't say even one negative about this amazing place Hotel is clean and very modern Food is to die for Amazing choice for everyone really good quality and beautifully served sea food Italian style Spanish paella whatever you wish... Friendly always smiling staff,chef's waitresses very high quality of service..believe me I've seen a lot in my life but this is TOP ONE Room service from highest shelf daily cleaned rooms fresh linen towels and ❤️ view to a beautiful pool with great lifeguards looking after us. Every evening nice entertainment for everyone to enjoy..even if its only from the balcony because water and sun makes you tired🤩😍🫠 Reception staff amazing too, friendly, well informed and always helpfull We used near by bus stop to travel all around Island and Aquarium is a must as well as Aqualand few mi utes away. The hotel is 10 minutes from the airport (by taxi). Sometimes there is a little noise from airplanes landing/lighting, but it is not bothering. Walking distance to the beach 3 min. The hotel is well ⁇ ined and cleaning of both rooms, communal areas, pool etc. is really good. There are many sun loungers and umbrellas at the pool area which opens at 9:30. It’s a huge plus that guests don’t book/locate loungers early in the morning, but have to wait until the area opens. On hot/sunny days there may be a rift around the seats, but it seems like the cabal is going somewhat up. Staff are friendly and very service-minded and smiling. They do a good job and some even try to remember one’s name or what one used to order of drinks. The prices for drinks are a little more expensive than at local bars/restaurants, but in no way scary (Coca Cola = EUR 2.80, Big beer = EUR 4.50). WIFI works very well both in rooms and in public areas. Aircon works really well everywhere. The breakfast buffet is generally very good with freshly baked croissants. The coffee is from the automat, but it is made from real beans and is of very good quality. Juice (5 kinds) is also ok, but not freshly pressed but enough from some concentrate. They can't make soft cooked eggs or omelettes, but mirror eggs, tube eggs, hard cooked eggs go on. On the other hand, they have fallen in the meat stickers trap with regard to bacon which is both poor quality and not cooked in separate slices, but whole panes in oven. There are plenty of fresh fruit, reasonable selection of cheeses, orders etc. The evening buffet is really nice and there is a reasonable selection. However, not a chef who cuts "The Rise of the Day". The desert buffet looks nice, but doesn't taste as good as it looks. All in all, it is a nice and well-functioning hotel with many pros and only few and negligible cons.

The hotel is well situated and only a 10 min taxi ride to and from the airport at a cost of around 17eur. Upon arrival we were met with nothing short of amazing customer service. The hotel is extremely clean and all the staff are kind and courteous. The rooms are exceptionally clean and we stayed in a pool view room which also had a nice view to the sea which is only a couple of hundred meters away (2 min walk). Pool was very nice and refreshing and the indoor pool was warm and inviting after a cold dip. Spa and sauna facilities are amazing, well worth a trip. Bar staff were very friendly and polite, always made you feel welcome, as did the restaurant staff. I had a lovely surprise of a bottle of cava and some macaroons as a gift on my birthday, I felt they really went above and beyond! Food wise, at 22eur the evening buffet was fantastic value for money and the breakfast buffet also with both having a very large selection of food so you will never go hungry. The only negative I can find is that our stay wasn't long enough, we will definitely be returning!

We spent 6 nights the week of August. Everything really went beyond expectations. The structure is very large but the treatment is that of a boutique hotel. Even though there are so many staff, everyone, absolutely everyone, from the first to the last employee, has always been extremely kind and attentive to any guest's needs. We opted for half board. Both meals are buffet style. The variety of proposals, the presentation of the dishes, the care of the buffet from the first to the last minute of opening were truly incredible. The food has always been great. And my husband and I have tasted everything! The buffet has always been perfect despite the very large number of guests! Even when we went out to eat late, it never happened that something ran out or that the buffet looked messy and unappealing. As soon as one of the many dishes available ran out, it was immediately restored with surgical attention. The swimming pool is large and very beautiful. The rooms are clean and basic. On the first evening we arrived at the hotel after midnight and found dinner in our room because we had not been able to use it as the restaurant was already closed. At the reception they also lent us an umbrella so we could independently explore the beautiful beaches of the island. The hotel is a stone's throw from a very long beach that is always very clean and has crystal clear water. The area offers everything without being excessively noisy or partying. Being close to the airport it is also very convenient to get to the hotel without renting a car, by taxi or public transport. Hotel Helios is a wonderfully clean and relaxed hotel with very friendly staff! Especially cook Salah, hostess Natalia and waiter Christian put a smile on our faces and a nice experience! The receptionists were also very helpful, for example when booking a boat trip and renting a car. There are also bath towels for rent against a deposit of 10 euros for the whole week, which you can change daily for a clean one. We were there for the second time. The entire staff is attentive, multilingual, helpful and all have an infectious good mood. The rooms are renovated with a good bathroom, refrigerator and some welcome drinks (including 1 small bottle of my longtime Spanish favorite red wine called "Marques de Caceres" - incredible but true!). The pool is very pleasant, has a small Jacuzzi area and also scores with the green meadows around it. We also find the light entertainment program (singer, saxophonist) in the evening a positive asset. Of particular note is the very good breakfast and especially dinner offer. Very extensive and always enriched with lots of fruit and dessert. Since we also like the proximity to the airport as well as the Playa de Palma up there around Balneario 15 - highly recommended for families - the hotel is and remains the best option for us in the local area!
