We booked this hotel due to the previous reviews, price and availability as we only booked 2 days before we travelled with On The Beach. We were so lucky to have a caught a very hot week before half term. The hotel is set in the most gorgeous location and all of the rooms have an amazing sea view. We were on the 7th floor and although we had two children with us the balcony seemed quite safe and secure. The room was basic but there was a fridge and a lovely waterfall shower in the bathroom which was lovely after a day on the beach. The tv only had one English Channel which was a little annoying when you were settling down in bed and fancied watching something for half an hour. Same for the kids whilst we were getting ready on an evening. The beds, towels etc were clean but it didn’t appear that the cleaner did the floors so they were always gritty and grubby. Our bathroom had an awful smell and I think the toilet was leaking internally which might have been why. The food wasn’t the best. This wasn’t down to the variety as there was plenty to choose from it was just that everything seems luke warm. It didn’t matter what time you went down for meals they didn’t have the right facilities for keeping the food hot enough. The grounds are stunning, pools clean, decking around the pool was lovely. The main pool is 3.5m at its deepest, not sure why but always wary of it when the kids are near. Two small beaches at either side of the hotel are only a short walk and both lovely. The bigger of the two was stunning and there was a nice beach bar there. Sea was warmer than the hotel pool and shallow for the first 50m. The entertainment was quite good considering it was end of the season. Flamenco, quizzes, acts etc. The kids club was brilliant for our kids. The lady who ran it was amazing and it gave us a nice time to relax whilst kids had fun on their own. I really enjoyed our holiday here. We met some wonderful new friends during our stay too. The hotel has a very relaxed feel in a luxurious setting. It was worth what we paid. Is it a 4*? Not sure really. If the food was better and rooms that bit cleaner then definitely!

Hotel's Favourite
Well this was my second time here we went 2 years ago also ....My family and I went last week 11 of us this time and had a brilliant time, fun and games for adults and children throughout the day, food was ok I wouldn’t say 4 star worthy but it was ok there was something for everyone in our group we definitely didn’t starve, the hotel is clean you just need to know that if you want your towels or bedding changing you need to put them on the floor and they will put fresh bedding and towels out, was a bit disappointed there wasn’t drinks like Malibu or tia maria on offer only the proper stuff which you had to pay for but the San Miguel was flowing nicely and the g and t’s... Now to the entertainment staff... brilliant, made our holiday they are all individually good at everything they do, Rosa, Jacob, Manuel and Miriam have so much energy and put there all into everything, our family took a shine to the Lovely Rosa she made us feel so welcome and put my shy girls at ease with the mini disco dancing and always chatting to us she is an asset to the hotel, Jacob well he’s the best aqua gym teacher had so much fun and he’s ever so funny.

First time away to the sunshine since Covid. Hotel has lovely views that is for sure but it most definitely is not 4 star. We enjoyed our mini break here as the weather allowed us to laze around the pool which really was all we wanted to do. However parts of the outdoor areas are looking tired and in need of some TLC, obviously the lack of visitors due to the pandemic have hit these resorts hard and I do feel for them but if you're selling yourself as 4 star then you do expect certain things. The hotel is due to shut in a couple of days and you can tell as they have run out of certain drinks etc. On the plus side the inside of the hotel is clean and the cleaners always left our room spotless. You can take a nice walk from the hotel along a coastal path too which is something worth doing. The food is ok, nothing fancy and there's no chef cooking meats etc like we have had in many other 4 star hotels. The hotel needs to learn how to keep the food hot too unfortunately it was warm but only just most of the time.So all in all we did enjoy our stay but it wasn't as great as it could have been

Dear Customer, First of all, we want to thank you for choosing our Hotel during your recent stay on the island of Mallorca. We regret that you have not been satisfied with the quality of service provided at the hotel during your stay. A simple comment during your stay, would have been enough for my colleagues to have notified me and or to have been able to speak directly with you at the Hotel to find a more appropriate solution and that your satisfaction would have been better. These comments have been made known to all department heads and Mangement Team for their record and improvement. We appreciate your opinions as they represent a lot to us, we believe in the continuous improvement of our services. The information that our guests kindly provide us is the best tool we have to offer them better services every day. For this, Our Company's primary objective is its Customer Service program to maintain and raise its quality levels in order to be able to provide all its clients with fully satisfactory stays. Hoping to welcome you again at our Hotel Alua Calas de Mallorca or in any others Hotels of the Company. Yours Faithfully, Raffaella Ricci (Guest Experience Manager)

I can truly say we had the most wonderful time. The hotel and location were perfect, it’s just extremely upsetting that on the last night we realised that we had €400 stolen from the room. I would recommend you use the safe which unfortunately you do have to pay for. We have made contact with the hotel and still await to hear further.

We was there for 5 days in October. Nice sunny days with good sport entertainment at day. Greetings for Jacob and Miriam, very good quizes and night live music entertainment. Food was amazing. A lot of choices also at snack bar outside the bar. Room are with beautiful sea view, we really liked. We give 4 stars for review only because hotel dont have any shops arround and rent a car is far away. The rest is apsolutly lovely. Thank you. Jane and Simi.
