We were 2 couples holidaying early season and chose Tayalot not only based on cost but on reviews. We were not disappointed. On arrival, once we explained that both couples were together and that I would celebrate a birthday we were given upgrades to 2 sea view rooms next door and I received a surprise bottle of Prosecco on my...

This is a lovely hotel. One of the first to be built in Cala Millor. (See photo's) A hotel full of character and history. Soon to be demolished at the end of this season by the new owners. The devoted staff (some have been there for nearly 40 yeats) were so friendly and made our holiday so relaxing. Our room...

Booked this hotel as a cheap last minute holiday, after reading a couple of reviews decide to as usual make up our own minds. It turned out to be a great decision. It may have seen some headier days but was perfectly located for our stay and at the end of the day you get what you pay for and...

Lovely hotel - well situated with lots of bars, restaurants, shops, etc. within an easy walk. Hotel staff very friendly and efficient. Just a slight problem with the British tv channels but hey we were on holiday so did without! Room was cleaned every day at an appropriate time (not too early or late) however there were not many guests...

Wonderful breakfast buffet and served in sunny dining room. The staff could not have been nicer. All very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated on the seafront and is just a few minutes walk from...

Stayed here in July on a family holiday (3 generations). Food was great and restaurant staff were excellent. The pool was small but clean. The entertainment provided by Santi was added to by his lovely personality. Negatives were the fact that we booked for a family and it was definitely not suitable for an energetic toddler- the terrace had steps...

Another enjoyable holiday at the Talayot. Very sad that it has been sold, we have had some memorable holidays there. It is rather dated but this is outweighed by the wonderful caring staff who go out of their way to give everyone a great time. Our thanks and best wishes to everyone.

I am writing this review to say a big goodbye and review my experience at the hotel from a 14 year olds perspective. I have been visiting the hotel since I was 7 and I am so sad to hear this hotel is being sold. After going there year after year it almost felt like a second home and to...
