We stayed here for 3 nights in early Sept. Los Canos is a one street kind of place - so we drove down the street and came across the Hostal Miramar by chance. What a lovely place - the staff are so friendly and helpful, even putting up with our pigeon Spanish. We paid 60 euro p/n for room with...

We staied in the apartment number one, with insufficient maintenance for the rest of the enterprise that seemed quite acceptable. Very close to the beach, very good (when no wind). I recommend, since you do not get the apartment number 1. It has parking, breakfast (very "controlled") and pool (small). I repeat, if not staying at apartment No. 1 (or...

Driving through Spain with an old school buddy in my convertible Mercedes (1983 classsic - nothing falsh) we happened on Los Canos by happy accident. Tried a couple of Hostals - not too friendly. Drove into Mirimar, met manuel, not much English but we managed. Next day met Francisco, great person - the four of us got on really well...
