I recommend! We stayed at this hotel for the 3thrd time. This time with our 5 month old baby. It was, as usual, very clean and the staff very nice. It is very well located and they have a parking car near the hotel. We’ll return for sure. We rate five stars...
If you don't have a rented car, this is one of the best reasonably priced superb hotels in Gaia, the city across the river from Porto. It is next to El Cortes Ingles department store, which opens very late until 11:00PM. Metro station is a block away from the hotel, which would take you to Sao Bento station in a few stops crossing Dom Luis bridge. We loved their breakfast and services. You could Uber to the river side for 3~4 Euro, if you like. It is just well located hotel. We had a rented car, but we parked on a reserved spot inside the building for 8 Euro per day while we spent three nights there. You have to reserve the spot as they only have limited spaces. I reserved the spot via email in the US before I apprive in Porto. Convenient hotel. We stayed on 9th floor and we didn't have any noise problem, but I would think if you stay on the lower floors, you might have to content with some of the noises coming from Metro, which pass right by the front of the hotel. We will be back for sure if we're coming back to Porto.…
Great Location, close to public transportation and convenient to all tourists sites and great restaurants at walking distance. Very friendly front desk and excellent services offered and helpful in advising of places to visit and recommendations. Rooms were very clean and neat with electric kettle if you want to make tea and coffee. There is no refrigerator. There is a safe in the room for your convenience, extra blankets and pillows as well. Breakfast is OK but not the best, Cold cuts, fresh bread, juices etc, etc, but nothing fancy. Room for improvement. Friendly staff. I would stay at this hotel again.
We have just returned from a 4 day trip get and it was great! The hotel is about 15-20 mins drive from the airport(we had transfer included so not Sure on the price) on arrival to the hotel the staff were great &the check in was easy. Our room was on the 3rd floor... the lift I must add I very small! Could just about fit my pushchair, husband and I in it! But a few lifts and stairs so Super easy. The room waS spacious, clean and tidy. The bathroom was also fine, with a lovely Shower! The hotel is on quite a busy road, and we slept with the window open, so it was quite noisy but didn’t affect us. The hotel is also along a slope so wear comfy walking shoes! To walk to the bridge to get to the river it’s about a 30 mins walk, there is a traM stop outside the hotel but we walked. The breakfast was fine in the hotel, cold hams, cheese etc, pastries, cereals, toast but absolutely Fine! There are cafes nearby so Cojld Go there! For a city break I Would defo recommend it! So much to see and do. Thank you for having us and we wil defo be back :) …
So easy to get to and find using the excellent Metro system. The room was small but brightly decorated and everything worked well. The bathroom was super-compact but worked fine (except the washbasin drain plug leaked so I had to leave the hot tap running when I shaved). The walls are thin and sound travels. We feared the worst from a crying baby one evening, however, our sleep was not disturbed. This area seems fairly quiet. The bottom sheet on the bed was slightly too small and turning over in bed untucked it. There's no need to buy breakfast at the hotel. There are many coffee bars near the hotel offering the same at one third to half the hotel's price.
