a lovely hotel in a great position, just minutes from the airport. The breakfast was adequate and plentiful, if not very varied. The room was fine, with a great sea view, but having paid for an upgrade to club level we were a little disappointed. One of the perks of the room was advertised as " tea and coffee making facilities"...

Fast check-in Very helpful staff Big and spacious rooms with sea view and sunrise Probably one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been to, rooms spotless Located right on the beach close to town center and close to the airport. Breakfast needs improvement, especially drinks, fried eggs and bacon. Food not impressive at all, buffet dinner needs improvement. I...

The Hotel I think could be better and could get 4 or 5 stars if the decor was updated and the standard rooms are re named as basic. The food is ok , better in the evening than day(Idid get food poisoning from somewhere maybe not the Hotel) . The bus serves is close by and very good value and...

The staff are fantastic although we had a problem we were never approached by managment although we did ask to speak to the manager. For those who might stay in the future DO NOT accpet to stay on the 10th Floor and in particular room 1010. With high winds there is an awful thumping noise which makes sleeping impossible. After...

If you are looking for a quiet, stress free winter break, this is the place. A very spacious hotel situated at the edge of a small village, on the sea front. The food was good, as was the bar service. The rooms (although , no balconies or wifi) where spacious and clean, with British speaking tv channels. The staff and...

Helpful staff, clean rooms with a sea view and a short drive from airport. Good choice within the breakfast room. A quiet town so just relax by the sea or use it as a base for travelling further afield.

A large, modern building with all you'd expect from any similar hotel but sadly nothing to make it stand out from the crowd (which is a shame) but does offer a reasonable breakfast spread with something to suit everyone. If you want a view of the bay then ask for a room on the higher floors.

The weather was warm but not sunny until the last two days when it was possible to sit by the pool and sunbathe but that is luck of the draw. Machico is a fairly quiet town with little in the way of entertainment/sights to see. The airport is only 10 mins away by taxi but noise of planes was not...

We are nearing the end of a one week break at the hotel Dom Pedro in Machico. The hotel is nicely situated at the west end of Machico bay. Part of the bay, to the eastern end, has fine golden sand and is ideal for swimming, weather permitting. The town is small and sleepy. There are a number of bars...
