The Victor Country Hotel is located in the heart of Valle d'Itria, Alberobello, the "capital of trulli" declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Surrounded by 42 hectares of mediterranean vegetation, it is inspired by the authentic beauty and unique surroundings. It consists of three buildings, the Uliveto, the Granaio and the Masseria of 1800, the heart of the resort: characterized by the harmonious beauty of traditional materials (the stone, wood and iron) respectfully recovered with a contemporary architectural style, it houses some Superior rooms, the Reception, the Bar, the Restaurant with views of the countryside and the Casa Rossa, a building of great historic and artistic interest. The Victor Country Hotel has 38 rooms throughout the three premises: Comfort, Superior and Junior Suite. The three constructions are adjacent one to the other yet different, namely the 19th century Masseria (the rural home), the colorful Uliveto (the olive grove) and the comfy Granaio ( the granary). The three facilities are finely decorated and furnished with high standard fittings. They all have air conditioning, direct dialing telephone, mini-bar, safe, cable TV, wake-up call service, bathroom with tub or shower and hair drier. Restaurant: great care is given to the selection of ingredients. Products locally produced, are selected to empower local producers and offer an exquisite experience.Special menus based on snails born in our breeding! The Fienile Massage Room, authentic stone house of the farmer of ancient time. To find the well-being and harmony between mind and body through natural treatments customized, we offer an intimate and private space, surrounded by greenery. Sports and nature lovers have many options among which we suggest: - trekking circuits and sticks for nordic walking along the "sheep-track" within the 42 hectares of the structure; - mountain bikes available for unforgettable rides in the green countryside, along the roads enclosed by the typical dry stone walls overlooking the blue sea; - the swimming pool located in a wonderful scenario of lavander flowers and olive trees; - fitness: an outdoor Easyline Technogym training circuit; Children can play freely in outdoor playgrounds in the greenery. Lovely sandy beaches and rocky coves in just over 20 km, choosing between the Adriatic Sea and the Ionian Sea.

This hotel is a great choice if you want to be close to Alberobello but still enjoy a peaceful, remote location. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options.
The highlight was the beautiful swimming pool area, surrounded by lavender—it felt magical. We loved the serene atmosphere and wished we could have stayed for a week.
P.s. I accidentally deleted my review in booking and came all the way here to still leave a review, because to me this was one of the highlights of the trip.

Passing through Alberobello we found this property at a very affordable price. What amazed me is the potential of it: lots of greenery, a beautiful swimming pool, a beautiful breakfast/lunch/dinner room with stone vaults and tastefully decorated. The room minimal and spotless, with everything you need. The breakfast was great: varied, beautiful to look at and delicious. Stra recommended. I hope someone invests more because the structure really deserves, the silence and the countryside around make it wonderful.

Lovely character hotel, it's not in the middle of nowhere, it's under 10 mins drive to Alerebello which is the reason for staying here. It not a hotel you would choose if you didnt have a car but perfect for our 4 nights here to explore Alberobello and the surrounding area and an hour drive from amazing Matera. Breakfast was very good but a bit limited for me needing gluten free options. We had an evening meal here one night which was very nice. Lovely pool area with country views. Our room was a bit small but quite adequate for us.

We were very pleased with the photos taken before our stay at the Pension. However, we quickly became disillusioned when we arrived there. Pension seems to be abandoned, which is highly regrettable as the place could be very nice and friendly if maintained. Our room was dirty and very dilapidated (blood stain on the sheets reported on arrival and which was not changed during the 4 days spent on site - blocked shower - foot sink that leaked abundantly - bedding of the last century...). The staff is not very friendly (except the lady who looks after the bar) - seems more than overwhelmed (one and the same young man cleans all the rooms, as well as bad, with a poor bucket and a mop, before having to climb to the roof, to carry out repairs...). Breakfast is okay but the cold cuts ooze from 6am, placed on a table, in the heat of the room... yogurt swells, pineapple juice stings - maybe and surely it has turned... We asked to change rooms but the very unsympathetic girl at the reception refused even though the Pension was far from complete. In short, the only positive is the pool which is, for the moment, quite well maintained.

The rooms are more or less correct: quiet and bedding ok, water leaks in the bathroom, upstairs without elevator and without help. Poor reception by young people who seem left to their own devices, complete absence of management.Very dark parking so complicated night arrival. And infamous on-site restaurant, based on reheated frozen, tested once and it was already too much! Nothing beats the 3* of this establishment...

We shot a lot and doing negative reviews is not like me but when you get to certain points, it's impossible not to review the worst. I start by saying that I do not find it conceivable to have to pay for a stay before entering and see the room or services present; I can understand this because if we had set foot in the room or seen the common areas, we would have left but having now paid we stopped. Invisible staff: we were not even escorted to the room, so much so once the bill is settled that does not care about the customer? In any case not even a good morning or a greeting (except for the young boy at reception). Poor breakfast: the only things to save, because in packaging, are the rusks and yogurt; there is even rotten and inedible fruit. Roughly clean room, behind the curtains there was dust and under the bed better not talk about it; we could not even get things out of the suitcases because the drawers were broken. The pool? We draw a pitiful veil, wasps everywhere; around the pool lavender has been sown, obviously attracting numerous insects if only it was a little taken care of maybe it would be different. Complementing wooden flooring to be fixed before it gets hurt like all common areas. This property would have a lot of potential, but continuing like this, without a minimum of maintenance and friendliness will not go on for long. A great regret and disappointment in the fantastic Puglia.

A place with enormous potential for all the typical Apulian countryside and the tranquility that surrounds it. Let's start: the service I give three stars just because the guy at the reception was courteous. Otherwise, he wouldn't even deserve one. Dirty room, with reagents in plain sight (I also killed a spider), presence of insects and various earthworms. The bathroom has a drain that drains badly and on one side of the wall there was a hole where the electrical cables came out. Part of the edge of the door was entirely rotten and covered with white adhesive. A dirty cover with a nice big dark spot still in sight. The structure itself is very dark, the pool small and dirty. Sufficient breakfast but nothing special. I personally would not recommend it, rather I would spend 20-30€ more but I would go to a better structure.

We got here okay. At room control the sheets and lining featured Peli. Dirty quilt with stains. Moving on to the bathroom: Dirty tablecloths with halos of stains On the third day we realize that only the sheet upstairs has been changed, while the rest has not been changed at all. Third day, tablecloths found above the toilet table, one of which is stained, we call reception to get an extra tablecloth, after 2 hours the tablecloth arrives, fortunately in the suitcase we have the emergency kit. Fourth day on return we smell sewer in our room, notify the reception, despite spending 4 days of poor cleaning and everything we took our bags and booked in another structure. Check out at reception had the nerve to propose the change of room after 4 days of vacation ruined by the organization of the structure. I do not recommend all travelers to book at this property. In fact I warn you of one thing that the answers given in these feedbacks I would say that if I were the Owner I would have kept quiet and I would have worked on the front line to understand, improve the potential of the structure. We left the structure a day early looking for another structure

Nice place in the countryside near Alberobello. Old farmhouse converted to hotel, with much taste. The room was directly towards the fields (my partner was afraid.... I wasn't). Furnishing and structure ok. Beautiful at night with little light in the common areas (my partner was terrified...I was fascinated by the atmosphere!) Dear all.... the doors outside the room seemed unsafe.... we were reassured by the staff .... thank you! Average dinner. Breakfast average. Recommendation.

Friendly and helpful staff. A place where I can relax hearing only the noise of nature. Well maintained swimming pool, accessible without any reservation. A place to revisit. If you are looking for a bit of tranquility it is the right place.
