We were on a cycling tour of Puglia so had to find accommodation where we could safely store our bicycles and were able to do this at Holiday Albergo who kindly stored the bikes in their office overnight. They also assisted us with receiving and storing our luggage which was dropped off and collected by taxi the following day. We greatly appreciated the help we were given in coordinating this from the friendly staff.

The Trulli’s are located in different streets within the same historic quarter a short walk from the company’s office in the square. Each appears to be uniquely decorated. Our Trullo was on a corner of a small cul-de-sac and a road. There was no road noise however a large tour group stopped right outside and stayed for some time which was a bit of an intrusion.

The Trullo was quaint and clean and with a small patio area at the rear with a table and chairs and a hot tub which was covered over so we assumed out of use. The décor was charming although a bit rustic for us. There was a small kitchenette which was more decorative than practical as there did not appear to be sufficient cooking and dining equipment supplied, which was not a problem for us but may be for some staying for a longer period. The bathroom was very small and the space inside the shower tight. The room was quite dark although it was to be expected given the shape of the Trulli’s.

Breakfast was served in the Cosi Com’era café in the square around the corner from the company’s office. The Trulli guests receive a basic breakfast selection including juice, coffee, yoghurt and pastries. It is not self-service so you have to select from the counter and they bring it to the table.

Check out was polite and efficient. These are not luxury properties; what they do offer is unique rustic 3* accommodation in charming historic buildings. It was nice for one night but probably not for an extended stay.

Good morning and thank you for sharing your Trulli Holiday experience. The number of stars does not depend on the quality, but on the services offered by the accommodation facilities. We are a hotel spread over trulli, a World Heritage Site, therefore we have the duty to stick to the spaces that our ancestors had designed about 400 years ago. Regarding kitchen equipment, the reception staff is always available for any request, even at night. Greetings from Alberobello.

I had a great time. Sleeping in a trullo was a wonderful experience.
Mr. Francis and the lady at reception are really nice.
The trullo is spotless and very comfortable, when we arrived the heaters were already hot. In addition, the breakfast included in the price, we enjoyed it in a delicious place, nearby, specializing in breakfasts called "As It Was" and was excellent with top quality homemade food.
I highly recommend The Hotel
Widespread in Alberobello if you want to spend a relaxing and very comfortable time.

Experience in the trulli fantastic. The trulli are located in the residential area, quiet both day and night. Clean and friendly staff. The organization of breakfast could be improved in my opinion: it was included in the price but hosted by an external bar, so the service was not what you expect from a hotel. Quality of products however good.

Fantastic stay. The trullo was such a unique experience however what we weren't expecting was everything inside to the such high quality, spacious, spotlessly clean, great locations with free parking, lots of additional thoughtful touches. Given the location and the concept of staying in trulli, we thought it might be pretty basic but it was delightful. Would recommend and stay again. The breakfast was also fantastic, the best we've had in 10 months of living in Italy.

Nicely maintained property with quality bathroom fittings. The property was well serviced with cleaners arriving early each day. Bed was comfortable and air-conditioning worked well. We had a nice courtyard with sunloungers and hot tub. We did not use the cooking facilities so cannot comment. However the Trullo we stayed in was very compact and not sure it was up to any serious cooking . Also a serious lack of storage facilities. When we arrived we had 4 hangers for 2 people and not a single drawer or cupboard for clothes. Walking tours were intrusive, we often found people on our doorstep and once they even complained that we were getting in the way of their photo. Overall Alberobello is quite a nice town with some pretty locations and nice restaurants but, of course, very busy with tourists.

The staff at the rental office were lovely and very helpful.

Good morning, dear guests. The problem of lack of space and intrusiveness of tourists (we ourselves are when we travel, so we should understand) is common to every World Heritage Site. People, enchanted by the historical and architectural beauty, cross the borders without even realizing it, driven by curiosity. The trullo where you stayed, in particular, is located in a characteristic alley inside the Rione Aia Piccola, the most authentic area of the town. We hope you can still bring a nice memory of your holiday in Alberobello. Greetings from the staff.

Trullo housing is a unique experience not to be missed in a city full of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the trullos. This is not a hotel, per se. There is an office to check-in and out, and a breakfast location near the trullos with very limited seating which opens at 7am. Delicious croissants.
Trullos are equipped with a mini fridge with complementary bottled water and a/c.

From diva start I don't know! Francesco who showed us our Accommodation is fantastic: very kind and extremely helpful!
The trullo is a real treat! There wasn't even a speck of dust looking for it with a magnifying glass! Clean bathroom with soft towel. Our trullo had the garden: cared for in every corner! A beautiful (and spotless) table with chairs. In a corner a comfortable clothesline and clothespins! The kitchen is large, spacious equipped with a nice fridge where we found 4 bottles of water at our disposal. Scented sheets and white as snow! Congratulations to all the staff! A trullo where you can live your holidays 100%

The trullo where we stayed looked like a delicate wedding favor! Comfortable environment and parking privato.Personale courteous and attentive to every single customer, so much so that on my arrival I found an envelope with almond cookies and a postcard with a personalized dedication, since they had noticed from the documents provided that on that day I would have turned 21, and it was a small gesture with great meaning that made that day even more wonderful! We stayed in the affiliated spa, two hours reserved only for us of pure relaxation. To finish breakfast included with products of their production and for all tastes ♥️

My first reaction on entering “my” trullo was “it’s so cute” and I instantly fell in love! I think it is probably the most unique and interesting “room” I have ever stayed in. To be in a real trullo is a great way to experience history, but equally they have been beautifully brought right up to date. Mine had the original cooking area/fireplace left as a decorative feature in the bedroom area, but with modern central heating as such a contrast.
The bathroom was superb - modern and roomy with an excellent dual handheld/waterfall shower. A sofa area, fridge and desk completed my trullo’s interior - from the rest of my group I gather that they are all different so each will be a unique experience in terms of layout and facilities. But we all agreed on the comfort and warmth at a chilly start to Spring.
Staying in the quieter, less touristic, side of the main road is a bonus, and our tour package included a lovely breakfast at a cafe around the corner. It’s a pleasure to walk around in the evening when the day trippers have left and you have a chance to experience the great atmosphere with more peace, especially in low season as we were.
A true highlight of my stay in Puglia.

Dear guest, you are right: sleeping in a trullo is an all-encompassing experience. Each element of a trullo, if authentic, brings the mind back to the old days, when those objects were regularly used. We ourselves often imagine how life went on inside them in the Rione Aia Piccola which is the one where you stayed. We are committed to making those spaces suitable for modern life, so we use the traditional renovation method but we pay attention to every comfort. We are happy that you enjoyed it. Greetings from Alberobello.
