This cute boutique hotel (you wouldn't know it was a hotel as it is located in the same building as apartments!) is a wonderful find. The rooms are decorated in baroque style with very high ceilings which are painted in beautiful fresco art. The staff are wonderful - the breakfast is great, and the location is superb. Excellent value. I...

Really enjoyed our stay. It's more like a B&B than a hotel. Very clean, staff helpful, breakfast good however very "Italian". Centrally located and easy to walk to both harbour and train. Two minor complaints:even although we were the only guests staying for the entire week, we were in the smallest room and wifi would be a great addition to...

Centrally located but no lift to first floor reception and the hotel - would have been impossible for me to carry my case up the steep staircase without the help of the receptionist. Spent 2 nights there and taken aback by the dark oppressive room - seemed more like a pet project to showcase antique furnishing by the owner rather...

good value for money. Right in the centre and you can walk everywhere. Big old authentic rooms. 2 min walk to the beach. Have dinner at nearby da rino restaurant and trattorria centro for fantastic local sea food

The hotel is located in an old palace with wonderful (but dark) frescoes and our room was particularly large. However, the bathroom, which was a boxed in addition was tiny and there is far too much uneccessary furniture in the room which reduces the available free space in the room. The beds are quite comfortable. Breakfasts are in a lovely...

The location was perfect for walking around. The breakfast outside was a lovely touch, with gazebos, draped with fabric. Our room had a 20 foot ceiling, with a fresco painted on the ceiling. Lots of old pictures hanging, Also a chandler in the middle of the room. Antique furniture, lace over the headboard on our bed, desk, 2 chairs, and...

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Stella Maris - great location in the "heart" of Levanto, blocks from the beach and "old" city. Can walk everywhere from there. Room was very clean and big and bright (we stayed in the original building, not the annex). Had a beautiful mural on the (very high) ceiling of our room. Big, high windows to...

We stayed there for 6 nights. The hotel is - or looks like - an old palazzo with high painted ceilings. Rooms are furnished with early 20th Century antique furnitures. However some of the high ceiling rooms are split in the middle height to make two seperate decks. We stayed in the upper deck and felt like Michelangelo painting Sistine...
