Our room was superior with a beautiful sea view. The breakfast was delicious and offered many local dishes, including cakes, breads, eggs, meat, and fresh fruit. We were very pleased with location to train station. It was a ten minute walk. The bathroom shower was on the small side and the mattress was firm.

First, the town of Levanto is wonderful to employ as a home base to explore the Cinque Terre as well as other villages and towns in the region. It features great restaurants, shopping, gelato and espresso cafes and has a relaxed, friendly vibe. The Villa Margherita itself was fantastic with great breakfasts, gorgeous grounds and a spectacular staff!! A special...

We stayed here to visit Cinque Terre. The full breakfast was much appreciated. There are lots of good restaurants within walking distance. It was nice to park the car for a few days in their secure parking. Rooms were fine. The wifi was adequate for checking email only. My son and daughter in law had less signal in their room....

We chose Villa Margherita based on online reviews, location and value/price. And it exceeded our expectations with regard to these criteria. On top of this, Federico (owner) and his staff were very very accommodating, friendly and service oriented. They helped us navigate the area and even got us some snacks late one night when we arrived back from hiking the...

On arrival we were shown to our superior twin room in the main house. The rooms was spotlessly clean and comfortable, however we felt it was smaller than we had expected. The next morning Paola was really accommodating and gave us the option of using one of the garden rooms with an extra single sofa bed which we decided to...

We had a superior room which had a nice balcony with a view over the town to the sea. Everything was clean and comfortable, although a few more power points would help if you need to charge devices. The breakfasts were great, good coffee and a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The hosts were there if you...

Great place to stay! Up on the hill with great views. Had to walk quite a ways to get into town, but it was nice to be up and out of the middle of town. However the rooms pretty dated. The bed was super soft and a bit uncomfortable. The shower was pretty tiny, my husband had a tough time,...

I stayed for four nights and would gladly have stayed longer. Paola and Federico were all incredibly fun to talk to. They genuinely made me feel welcome, while sharing information about the history of thetown, great local restaurants(not tourist traps), and how to avoid crowds. The place is very beautifully decorated .

I think it is important to clarify that this is a B&B. I had a decent experience, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent. My only complaint is the air conditioning. When we arrived it was hot enough to have the AC running, but upon asking they did not enable it because of the time of the year....

I think is import to clarify Villa Margherita is a 3 stars Hotel serving breakfast in the morning between 8.00 am and 10.30 am , we do not have a restaurant and we do not serve lunch or dinner It's also important to clarify that we explained to the client the air conditioning system is not working in November as...

Great place to use as your base to visit Cinque Terre. Short walk to the train station. Parking can be somewhat difficult but the staff will help you with that. Location is a bit tricky to get to but don't let that stop you from staying here.
