Villa Gentile is central in Levanto (which is by no means as small a town as some places in the Cinque Terre area), and an old-style building with high ceilings etc (i.e. not a modern hotel building). Very helpful owners, they speak English and I am sure French, and other languages. My ground floor room a little noisy with street... More

This place is located perfectly for everything and we managed well considering the bathroom is a separate locked room and there's no air con. At high season it's likely too hot as we kept the fan on all night. Facilities are cleaned regularly and the family that run it are so friendly and helpful. We were given bikes (booking.com genius... This little B&B, run by a mother and her children, is very nicely located. While the interior is somewhat dated, it is clean, and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. We reserved a room with a shared bathroom, but ended up with a room with a private, exterior bathroom, which was very convenient. The breakfast is quite suitable. If... More

Im so pleased with my staying at this Hotel. The staff was very kind and helpfull with everything. The breakfast you got everything morning was perfect and had an Italian inspiration. The location is excellent too, its just inbetween the trainstation, that takes you easy to the other villages, and the beach. 500 meters each way. Im a very happy... More

We got there a little late because of being held up in Turin, but the manager was still there and was very nice. The room was a good size and we had a private balcony. The place is beautifully decorated and there is a little garden area with fish and flowers everywhere. Its a short walk to the beach and... More

Our first time to Levanto. Hopefully we will come back. Angela made us feel welcome and we really liked her enthusiasm about our trip. The room was lovely. As we were busy hiking and sight seeing it was nice to come back to a place that felt like home. If we make it back to Levanto we will stay at... More

Our stay was made very enjoyable by the Manager Graziella and her assistant Barbara it is close to trains, ferries, beach and various walks. The rooms very comfortable, bathrooms clean, a boutique style of accommodation with lovely courtyards, gardens where spent time having happy hour with our group of 8 adults from Australia. We thank Villa Gentile very much for... More

A great little B&B, good value for money. Pretty courtyards for sitting or having breakfast, comfortable room and bathroom, super central location. We came here from another more expensive hotel in the same part of town as they were unable to extend our stay, and it stacked up very well. Breakfast not so lavish perhaps, but perfectly adequate. The somewhat... More

Yes, we had hoped to stay in Vernazza, or one of the other Cinque Terra towns, but we hadn't realized we were arriving on a major Italian holiday weekend. Levanto is the next little town north, and the Villa Gentile had a vacancy, at a quite reasonable price.... Finding the B&B was easy, just a walk downhill from the station,... More
