I spent two nights in this hidden gem located not far from the Ischia Porto. I booked a room with a small balcony and a great see view (highly recommend to book a room with a view, it is not that much more expensive than a regular room). We were welcomed warmly by Lucia who works at the front desk....

We were accommodated in La Fenice (part of the hotel situated higher on the hill, you have to go up the stairs), there is fantastic view to Aragon Castle and nearby islands. Hotel staff is very kind, helpful and friendly. Our room was nice and cleaned daily incl. towels change. Quite small bathroom. Food is partly local and partly international,...

You feel like you are home. Hotel is run by family. Hotel is situated on the hill, from where you can see Castello Aragonese. The public transport station is almost at the hotel entrance, so it's very convenient. The room itself was very small, but it's enough. In the garden, during my stay, there were a lot of blooming roses...

the hotel is at cartaromana beach where the views are amazing but you need to walk a lot and I do not recomend it for disable people also the mineral water is different from the western part - its more mineraliuzed and you can stay only for 15-20 min in pool the hotel has a swimming pool which was not...

The hotel itself is situated where there is a lovely view of Castello Aragonese. Its at the end of a street, near 3 other hotels, and parking is limited to the turn around area. But you don't really need a car, because a public bus comes by at least every 15 mins or so. There hotel requires walk up stairs,...

Without doubt, the worst hotel in Italy - and beyond! My partner and I booked a holiday at this hotel for the therapeutic waters and health spa in the hotel's grounds for my very painful back following a prolapsed disc injury. Unfortunately the hotel mattresses were so appallingly hard that I couldn't even sit on the bed for 2 minutes...

Stayed 3 nights. Nice clean hotel, lovely room with balcony and brilliant view on sea and castle. Thermal pools in beautiful garden made for fantastic time relaxing after visiting the island. On half board, breakfast and dinners were great. I have been pleasantly surprised by the very efficient bus system on the island: frequent buses go everywhere (stop right in...

We stayed for one night at the Giardino delle Ninfe and had a lovely time. The private beach is charming, and the thermal pools were very relaxing. The rooms are basic, but provide everything you need. We loved waking up to the sunrise over Mt Vesuvius, and the breakfast was incredible! Only draw back for us was the distance from...

I had a truly wonderful week at this hotel. The location is perfect - a pleasant 20 minute walk into Ischia ponte, the bus stop is directly outside, the views from the hotel are sublime and the hotel has it's very own private beach. The hotel itself is clean, homely, friendly, cosy and laid back with fantastic facilities. It's the...

Ischia is a secret to most Americans, that's unfortunate. The hotel surroundings and accommodations are very good. The views were awesome especially from our room and veranda. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again. With the bus stopping at the front door you can go anywhere on the island.

“If you are fit ask for a room in La Fenice. 206 combines views with a reasonable balcony. 207 has fabulous view but tiny balcony - have to move the chair to open the door. Room 103 on ground floor has partial view but MUCH easier on the legs and lungs!”

“Note that the superior double with sea view and terrace has a great view but the 'private' terraces have absolutely no privacy as they are divided from the neighbours with a thin wire.”
