What a great place! quiet, peaceful and so beautiful! upon our arrival, we were shocked by the beauty of flowers welcoming us.so much color and that gave a great sense of energy! Very clean hotel with helpful and very friendly staff, always wanting to help as much as they can. we had our own car so did not need to...

From the moment our taxi dropped us off, we felt so welcome. Salvatore handed us a branch with plums just picked and we were hooked. The best food was prepared by Mama Tina and we ate there every night. The atmosphere was so warm and friendly-we felt like part of the family. It is a way from town center, but...

Be warned - the hotel is MILES from the town!! There is a bus once an hour, apparently, and the roads are very very steep. The rooms were fine, although the TV was not wired in and the terrace was fairly rough. We had envisaged sitting around the pool, but this seemed to be not very clean or comfortable. We...

We went in this hotel looking for one week of autumnal rest under the October sun of Ischia. We got that, but we got much more : the warm hospitality of an Italian family, Salvatore, Mama Tina and their three sons (Giuseppe, Amerigo and Lorenzo). From wise advices to find the best place for therms to private cooking lesson to...

Stayed at this lovely little hotel for the second week of our trip to Italy. The rooms are perfectly adequate, we found the bed extremely comfortable and we had fresh towels every day. The views from the balcony are superb (worth the trek up the hill). Every room DOES have a sea view. The breakfasts are good, a good selection...

This family-run inn has lots of plusses - great personal service, a lovely garden restaurant with delicious food for a reasonable price. If you are looking for something more personal than the average hotel, this is a good choice. The manager (one of three sons whose family owns and runs this inn) gives you his cell phone number in case...

If you are looking for reasonably priced accomodation then you can't go past Poggio. I intended to stay at the hotel for just two nights but ended staying a week. The rooms are basic but comfortable with air-con, TV, clean bathrooms with good showers. My room had a front balcony view overlooking the ocean and countryside so I was able...

Stayed here last September for 5 nights. If you are looking for great value, and are not bothered being in the centre of town this is the place to stay. The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable. They all have access to a terrace (with swimming pool) or balcony, and have a fabulous view. Being family run, Poggio...

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful without crowding you too much, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced and the swimming pool was small but clean with a lovely view. The rooms were clean and comfortable with lovely views of the bay (but not luxurious if that's what you're looking for). I should, however, warn you that the...
