We pondered the various communities on the Amalfi Coast and decided to stay at the Palazzo Vingius in Minori. We stayed in room 2 which had a balcony overlooking the beach. There were steps to be dealt with, but I think that would be applicable to most hotels on this coast. The r

My wife and I stayed here for three nights and we couldn’t be happier considering the price. The owner and her staff were always on hand to assist us where necessary. The room was very clean and was serviced daily. The view from the balcony was postcard perfect and the town of Mi

The location of this establishment is perfect. Right in the town and on the beach. Clean rooms and wonderful service.
There are many many stairs so may not be suitable for some.
Breakfast was generous and delicious.
Highly recommended !!

Hi, How much is car parking in October please?
I actually don't know, but in spring time with all the festivals, the price still was very moderate. However, the trouble was to find a parking place.

Is it possible to book this hotel online? Is it a good place to stay to access yours if Capri, Pompeii, positano?
It is . We've booked it online Hotel is very close to Positano by Sita bus) and it has great location . To get to Pompeii you would have to go back to Sorrento and take a train heading towards Naples . Pompeii is around 40min by train away . From Palazzo you have 5 min walk to bus stop heading towards Positano ,Amalfi ,Sorrento and believe me bus route is just pure amazing you can enjoy all the great views of Amalfi coast !! The other thing is that public communication is very cheap !!enjoy your stay in one of the most beautiful places on Earth !

Hello, We will be staying at your hotel in July and wondered how we get to and from the train station at Salerno. We also have to catch a train at 6:30am on July 8th, so I'm assuming a taxi would be required and we'd have to leave by 5:15am. Any suggestions would be great. Bruce
I have only used a car going to Salerno. Beware that traffic ( buses and trucks during that time) could have an impact on timings. I would add an extra 15 min to be on the safe side . Len

Hi How much is parking? We are considering renting a car as we want to see Pompeii and unsure how to get there from airport. How much is it from airport? And can you do Pompeii without a car?thanks
It's very easy and very cheap to do that trip round by train . At the Pompeii scavi just outside of the train station building there is a tramvia bus doing the Vesuvius tour . It goes 3 times a day not think it's 11.30am,12.30 pm and 14.30pm it's 10€ with return but if you want to go on top of mountain it cost another 10€ each . About the car park at the hotel iam not sure . We were also thinking to rent a car but to be honest with you the way Italian people drive is just horrible so we decided to stay safe and don't drive there . No rules at the road at all !!!!😊have a Great trip it's well with it !!! If you decided to do the trip by train you can do easily both Pompeii and Vesuvius
