If you prefer hotels with all the amenities, then Hotel Zur Post probably is not going to be the place for you. There is no lift nor a large staff to dote on your every whim, but rather a very kind, and attentive owner named Ute who my wife and I found to be delightful. Hotel Zur Post offers clean,...

This charming village, like many on the Rhein is home to not only Castles but also great boutique hotels and B&B's... and this is one of them. Reasonably priced and centered in the small town, it offers everything you might want including spacious rooms with showers and free internet. A nice European breakfast is included... and although there is no...

Arriving on the last train, into the beautiful town of Bacharach, in the middle of the night was such a unique experience. Only one bar was open and all the other buildings were silent and dark. At first, we were nervous as we walked along the cobblestone streets trying to find our hotel. We were looking for a hotel from...

This place was beautiful and the owner was wonderful. My friends and I stayed one night and spent the rest of the day travelling up and down the Rhine and the owner allowed us to leave our bags in a locked room even though we were not staying there at all that day.

This is an older building. It is very basic. No elevator. Good location as whole town is within walking distance. Proprietor is interesting. Not much to do in town after dark. Easy to take a river cruise from Bacharach.

Nice hotel in a good location with very friendly helpful staff. Very good breakfast. No elevator so be prepared for stairs. Also, we did hear train noise even with the windows closed but we had a corner room with windows on two sides so perhaps that allowed more noise to filter in.

We love Bacharach and visiting and eating at Altes Haus, so this location for a hotel is perfect for our visit of the town and visit of the vineyards and castle above the town. We slept well and the room was extremely quiet !

this sweet hotel is only a few blocks from the rail station. we were here for one day and made the most of the surrounding area. The boat dock was a few blocks down t from the hotel and took a short cruise on the Rhine, from Bacharach to St Goer. Our hotel room had a nice view of the...

This hotel did not have an elevator but the wonderful owner/hostess helped us with our luggage so it was never a problem. We parked out front and unloaded and then parked for free a short distance away. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great in a welcoming room. We loved the village and the location of our...

The rooms were clean and our hostess was friendly. It is a little noisy, but that is part of the charm of Bacharach. Centrally located and very safe. You can easily walk to the train or any any other of the sites of the town.
