Stayed with friends for four days. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds and rooms with views. Short walk to access slopes and restaurants in town. Although leaving late afternoon we were given the use of one of our rooms to change after skiing

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in room 102 and it was perfectly adequate, very basic with 2 small comfortable beds and a little bathroom. Clean and warm with a small balcony and the most amazing view. Walls were not very thick so quite noisy at times. The owners were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good...

Staff really helpful and friendly. Hotel clean, but very basic. Beds really uncomfortable with thin single mattresses. Really warm inside which is uncomfortable even with the windows open. Breakfast ok but expensive at 12 euros. Meribel has become really expensive but at 170 per night I think this is high for this place.

The location was amazing! Steps from bars and restaurants and an easy walk to ski. The staff was so friendly! Always smiling and helpful! Breakfast was great -the eggs are cooked to order and tons of fruit, bread, cheese, and yogurt available. Rooms are tiny and extremely simple - 2 pillows, 1 blanket, 2 towels, and daily cleaning is simple...

Pretty much prefect location for the hill. Rooms are fine - nothing special but that's not what this hotel is about. Disagree with the previous comment regarding uncomfortable beds. Breakfast is limited, but fine and you can have eggs cooked to your liking, plus little pancakes if you wish. Hot showers and a little balcony per room. There's a little...

We stayed here, arriving Christmas eve and staying for four days. The front desk was very welcoming (she let me practice my abismal French) and was patient with me, even though her English was perfect. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a bit small but not by European standards. The room was plenty warm, the...

Booked at last minute and got a great room rate possibly due to limited snow early in the season but would look at this hotel again at higher rates because there arent many budget hotels right in Meribel and this one is of a much higher standard than I had hoped for; the Genepi has a good location, ten minutes...

Good value for money. Location is perfect - it is the centre and the lift to the slopes is very close. I liked the breakfasts a lot - you can choose from decent amount of things to eat. My room was very nice but small. The staff was very friendly but I had to take my luggage on my own.

Stayed for a short break in January. The Genopi is a basic hotel which is tucked away from the main road but only 50m from the centre of the town and very close to the main ski lifts. The staff were all very pleasant and well mannered but there was no real warmth that you often get from small hotels....
