Staying at La Taverne hotel was an absolute pleasure from start to finish (apart from the fact that I fell ill and was unable to ski). Fortunately the comfortable, accommodating and friendly Tav hotel was a great refuge for me with beautiful views out of my balcony window which made me feel like I was still part of it all....

Had a very good 5 night stay here in January 2017. Room right over the front porch so wasn't really disturbed by the music. Great views from the balcony down the main street and mountains. Nice touch with the ear plugs but didn't need them. Bar food was very good, restaurant food was very good. Room was basic, clean and...

We stayed here for 1 night when visiting our son who was working a Ski Season. The hotel is in a fabulous location. We were able to leave our luggage first thing in the morning at the hotel, prior to checking in. We had been informed that the hotel could be noisy due to its location and bar facilities so...

A cosy hotel perfectly located in the heart of Meribel. I had a very comfortable room with a beautiful view over the main street and mountains. Friendly staff and a nice bar/restaurant downstairs. Good value for money and I'll definitely come back!

Wife and I stayed for one week at Le Roc Hotel, part of La Taverne complex. Checked-in at the Bar reception, extremely friendly staff, and even though it was only noon and check-in is officially at 1700 our room was available, so they let us in. Because we knew the place was going to be noizy at night ( remember,...

We stayed in the hotel for 2 night and the location is the only positive thing about it. It is worse than a hostel but you pay the price of a 4* hotel which is unacceptable. The carpet is not attached, the doors don't close well, small rooms,... The worse of all is that you have a club in the...

I stayed at Hotel Le Roc this week and had a brilliant experience! The place offers exactly what it says it does, the staff are so very friendly and very helpful. Yes the bar down stairs has music playing late but that is something they state before you book so was to be expected. It was very reasonably priced and...

This hotel does not hide from what they are and even go as far as to warn you in case you weren't paying attention. If you actually paid attention to their warnings and understand what you are paying in comparison to other hotels in Meribel center and set your expectations accordingly, you should come to the realization that you found...

Don't be fooled by the name.. this is basically a grubby hostel which charges an extortionate rate because it can. "Free" breakfast is a few croissants and some yogurts... don't bother paying for any cooked food, the sausage and bacon bap made me sick and they didn't know how to fry an egg. Wifi required you to sign in, which...
