We stayed here for two weeks in September....and the weather was scorching!! The individual sites are large and each is surrounded by hedges and trees so there is privacy and a bit of shade. The ground cover is earthy sand, and we really needed a floor covering before getting into our van as the sand went everywhere. The toilet blocks...

This year was our ninth visit to Le Cormoran ,and as usual everything was just great. Perfectly situated for bike rides to many of the Islands quaint little Towns and Fine Beaches. The local Town of Ars En Re is a five minute bike ride or about a ten minute walk. The pool complex at Le Cormoran is excellent as...

Ideal base for cycling the island of Ile de Re. We have camped here several times before but this year we opted to rent one of the chalets (the Ophea 784 terrace) and really appreciated the extra luxury! Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. All the amenities were clean and in good order. The bar restaurant menu was much improved and...

We had a 5 day stay at Le Cormoran, and everything about it was wonderful. Attentive, helpful service and advice, excellent pitch for our very big 6 man tent, wonderfully built and maintained toilet and washing facilities, lovely swimming pool area. Short walk (even shorter bike ride) to Ars en Re itself, which was beautiful. Would definitely recommend, and hope...

We took a "coco suite" hut on this site and it was perfect. Not to hot or cold and the best bit were the black out blinds which ensured it remained pretty dark when the sun rose in the mornings. Fantastic for kids - the pool and restaurant are amazing. Staff great - the Cabanon tent my friends rented was...

Lovely stay at a nice smallish campsite. Pitches are a good size but very sandy. I wished we had a groundsheet/carpet for area outside tent. Sanitaires very clean but lack loo seats! Pools were wonderful. Staff very busy tending to site. Restaurant ok. No shop on site but you can order bread from the bar. Local beach lovely but not...

We have been coming to the Ile De Re for over a decade now, until this year by Motorhome. We love Le Cormoran for its excellent location within walking distance of Ars en Re and yet far enough along the island to be away from the tourist bustle of St Martin. It has a fantastic, full size for swimming, heated...

“Some cabins have outside areas facing the road. We were happy ours faced inwards and hedging gave us some privacy. Most looked shady but some are probably more protected than others. They have two very fancy cabins called 'key west' that looked good from the outside but cost more. None have any views to speak of as far as we could tell but the trees make it all quite pleasant. Worth asking management if you have particular requirements as they are very responsive and helpful.”
