The panorama from the hill of Sancerre is beautiful. Reception was friendly and rooms are renovated and are fine. Good bathroom with bathtub. However, you will only really appreciate this hotel when your room is at the side of the panorama. Not only for the views but also due to traffic that woke me up in my street view room....

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Le Panoramic for the weekend to celebrate a birthday. The hotel is a perfect base to visit the town and surrounding area. The room was clean with modern décor, the bed very comfortable and bathroom perfectly adequate. The main feature of our room was the outstanding views of the vineyards. Breakfasts were...

Stunning views of the valley below and beyond. Our bedroom was on the top floor, 'in the eaves' and consequently our view was at a higher level than the others (in our group!). A good hotel living up to its three stars. My sense is that 'stars' shouldn't make a lot of difference to hanging facilities in hotel bedrooms, but...

We stayed here for 4 nights with a couple of friends. The hotel is quite basic and the room is very small, my husband uses a wheelchair no could only just get into the room and down one side of the bed, although the bathroom was adequate. The room was very clean and we had fresh towels daily. The breakfast...

It was my second visit in the last seven years and to absolute surprise and delight Catherine was present at the front desk. Her charm, wit, sense of humor and care contributes greatly to their success and our customer satisfaction. The location is perfect: quiet, with spectacular views, walking distance from the center and in close proximity to the wineries....

This hotel is pretty basic, but we didn't spend a huge amount of time in it. The views made up for any shortcomings. The room was basic, with no space in the cupboard (I can't call it a wardrobe) to hang your clothes. The shower and toilet were clean and the bed was ok. Wifi was patchy, but it was...

The hotel is comfortable, clean and very friendly. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was not extensive but perfectly adequate. It was as worth having a valley view as waking up to blue sky and vineyards was wonderful. Only downside was that the wi-fi was a little hit and miss in our room. The walk into the...

While the front of the hotel does not look special, it's built on a very steep hillside, giving outstanding views at the rear over the countryside, mainly vineyards. The hotel is a short walk from the old centre of Sancerre, but it is a steep slope up. Our room, with the views, was a reasonable size, well laid out, with...

Hotel was fine but basic. We had a valley view room so that made up for any other failings. It was a little out of the village centre but it was a pleasant walk away - mostly uphill though so I would consider this when booking if you struggle with walking.

needed an overnight stay at short notice. Called in for a room that night. Read a few reviews which were not too complementary. They were wrong! We paid a bit more for a room with a view. It had a terrace leading straight onto pool. Pool was another surprise in view of location.paid 140 euros for the room. more than...
