We arrived at 1pm and the place was locked there was a note on the door telling us to come back after 3.30pm - not a great start. Our room was on the top floor - glad we didn't have much luggage! Room was ok, nothing special. There was very little effort to speak English which I found amazing considering...

We had a triple room which was in a separate building around the block. Our room was clean, roomy and bright. The church was located next to the room and the bells ring from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm. When we came back after our first day our room had not had house keeping. Breakfast was typically French with bread,...

Easy walking distance to beach with remnants of the D-Day mulberry harbor. And extensive museum. Well worth attending -- has theater and models of the harbor. Also actual feared German 88mm high velocity gun outside that took such a toll of allied tanks. Together with allied artillery pieces in pristine condition. The hotel has no grounds and no parking. Room...

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! NOT military friendly!!! Which is a shame for this area!!Once arrived NO one was there to check us in. States they do NOT understand English but speaks excellent English. Breakfast is a rip off! Not very clean. Very limited street parking. Learn from our mistakes!! Please look elsewhere!!! Lots of other places around!

Very friendly staff, speak English but we're kind while letting us practice our French. Hotel was very nice and quant, in a quite corner of this beautiful little seaside town, although the church just outside the window had bells that went off at 7am. Restaurant was outstanding; escargots tasty, côté de boeuf delicious and the best bread we'd ever had....

We stayed in Le Mulberry Hotel for 3 nights as a base for touring the Normandy Beaches and museums of the area. It didn't disappoint. If you have read my previous critiques of French hotels you will know that I am quite scathing of those who accept what I call 'Tat' as being French 'charm'. This is the real thing...

A real little gem of a place with a controlled , almost classic French menu. The meat dishes were particilualy well executed which, coupled to top class service from the only young waiter, makes this a must visit place when in Arromanches. The limited wine list was also very good with a page of all wines priced at 25 euros...
